What kind of geek ass nerd makes a Dispatch OC? Psh, not me.

Anyways here’s my familial oc x cc Dispatch OC Reyna who’s Robert’s adopted daughter. Look at her! My baby!

Edit!!! Her power is different. It’s glyph control! She has 4 different glyphs; gravity, energy, physical and speed. Combining them does different things, but combining all of them will explode. Like, a lot. She’s a nuke.

Inspired by Weiss from RWBY and The Owl House.

Backstory: When she was six she discovered her powers and ended up exploding the neighborhood, killing her parents in the process. Mechaman rescued her from the rubble, finding her coughing up black ink-like bile with her hair darkened from the bottom up. Afterward, he brought her to the hospital and the government deemed her lethal. She stayed in a lab with many experimenting on her for a few months before Robert went to court demanding her release. They allowed her in his custody, under the guise of him “monitoring her abilities”.

- Rey takes up the only room in the apartment since Robert is usually out at night doing Mechaman junk anyways.

- She’d probably get an episode about her if she were canon.

- She wanted to be a superhero so badly after being saved.

- Robert is worried she’d hurt herself on the field and forbids her from pursuing the career.

- She thinks it’s because he thinks she’ll hurt someone again.

- The closest he allowed her to get with heroing was letting her intern at SDN.

- She ends up doing vigilante stuff anyways.

- She made the hero outfit herself, she’s so proud of it.

- It’s all thrifted except the Mechaman pendant on her belt. She stole that from their scraps pile.

- Rey thinks she’s being slick but Robert knows, or at least figures it out within a week.

- He says nothing until she actually does get hurt.

- “I’m sorry, how could I NOT have known? I literally washed your suit yesterday.”

- Shroud fucking GETS her bro.

Someone from the Dispatch OC community gave me the idea of making collages so I HAD to do the Robertsons + Reyna and her gf (situationship?) Rockit! YIPPEE YAHOO MY FREAKS!!!

I included duo matches, “date” night, colors, photos and songs, but I switched the order between the two. Enjoy my shipnannigans.

Family Reyna! More of her even though nobody asked for it!! :D

These are just doodles but I’ll throw in some headcanons as a little treat. Also, sorry I’m not great at drawing dudes, I’m trying here.

- Reyna was a really absent minded kid. Her parents dying obviously affected her, but she had a lot of therapy to start. Half of it was kind of just repressed and she ended up being kind of normal. She was also extremely blunt and would just say random shit. You know those videos like, “aww, kids say the darnedest things!!” Yeah she was one of those.

- Big head baby. Robert wasn’t there to see it because it was pre manslaughter but Reyn took like, extra long to sit up because of her fatass bobble head. This carried on with her humongous eyes. Girl can see space or something.

- Her hair gets darker with the use of her powers (like I said before), so after her accident the deep dark pink in her hair was really pigmented. You can see how it faded out over time in my doodles actually. She still uses her powers but the more control she has the less intensely her hair changes.

- She was more like Robert when she was a kid than when she’s a teen. She does have some of that sarcastic snark in her though, especially when she first met Flambae.

- Her and Flambae didn’t really like each other at first. He thought she was an annoying brat who followed his hot boss around like a dog. Reyna thought Flambae sucked in general, mostly because her dad is quite in fact Mechaman. She did feel bad for the fingers though.

- They end up getting along once Robert finally lets Reyna hero on the field post game events. They’re a good team up and actually have fun bantering with each other.

- Robert and Flambae DO end up getting together because I love Mechabae/Flambert, you can pry them out of my cold dead hands. Flambae takes his role as stepdad really seriously and treats Rey like his own daughter. She’s his favorite Robertson. Yes, more than Robert.
