On becoming a Father
It happened last Wednesday, noong nabigla ako sa tinanong ng iasa kong kaibigan. "okay lang ba sa inyo kung magkakaanak na ako?" Upon hearing that query my mind automatically went back to the time na this friend ask me to go with him in a drugstore wherein our college friend works as a cashier and there he ask our friend about lubricant. Then another incident happened when he asked us, our circle of friends, about "cortal na dinurog sa redhorse". Then are also a time na nasabi niya na his father already made room for him outside their house. Then with hus simple query, my mind blew up, puzzled abd then back to reality. He's 21, has a stable job. And madiskarte naman sa buhay. My only problem is we are asking him if he really does, kung nabutis niya na nga ba yung girlfriend niya, but his answer is just a simple shrug and smile, denied everything and even told us to forget about that. If that is true.. It would be okay for me! Basta ninong ako. And if that is true we all want to know it first hand. Sino ba ang hindi matutuwa sa new chapter ng buhay ng friend niya na magbubukas?
