DADDY TIP #13

#13: Around Christmas time and the holidays it can be difficult for your little to go into space. A good way to help them feel important in that aspect and remind them that you care is to get a shoe box, go to the store and get a few items!!

A set of Christmas pajamas.

A Christmas movie (Walmart sells packs with something like 13 or so on a few disks.)

Some of their favorite snacks as well as some popcorn or a healthy alternative (carrot sticks or broccoli/cauliflower are easy non messy alternatives.)

Hot chocolate mix WITH marshmallows. If you cant find any with them in it they usually have mini ones in the baking aisle of most convenience stores.

Last but not least a small holiday themed stuffie! (It doesn't have to be huge just one of the smaller $5 ones it will still bring a smile to their faces)

Place all the things in the box, wrap it up, and give it to your little as an early Christmas gift!

DADDY TIP #2

When mixing your littles chocolate milk add a dash of vanilla and a half spoonful of sugar before bed. The sugar helps break down the milk quicker so no sour tummies in the morning and the vanilla releases endorphins in your brain causing them to relax and settle in for a night of good rest! Plus you can tell them the sugar is for sweet dreams as a bonus!!

DADDY TIP #11

Always, always keep sleepy time tea around for those days a princess or prince gets sick. If you add some honey and a spoonful or two of sugar it’s great for sore throats and to coax little ones for nap time so their body can heal them naturally. They make special tea for sleepytime as well as chamomile, a great soothing tea with a flowery taste!

DADDY TIP #1

As a daddy you should always know the names of your littles stuffies. My tip is, to help put your little into space immediately instead of asking them a question direct it towards one of their stuffies and wait for a response! You acknowledging their stuffies and interacting is almost instant headspace at any time!!

DADDY TIP #12

Short one today, but VERY important. As a daddy your job is to make sure your little feels safe and in no danger. Especially whilst they sleep! This being said, if you don’t already, sleep on the side of the bed CLOSEST to the door. That way if your little has any doubt of intruders or monsters in the house daddy is always between them and the bad people/things!!

DADDY TIPS #8, 9, 10

Again I've been slacking off sorry! Here we go!

#8 I've noticed that while I'm at work my little one likes to occasionally go back to sleep, instead give your little a few simple tasks to complete before you get home!

#9 Always say I love you back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#10 Don't feel like you can't talk to your little about things that you deem as a big person matter! Sometimes a littles insight or solution to a problem is way more effective than you think!

DADDY TIP #7

If you're long distance from your little or perhaps just out of town have them give you their address and send them a handwritten list of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to keep them healthy! This could include a list of snacks or meals that you deem as healthy for your little! Remember you're not just in their life to provide comfort you're in their life to care for them in every way imaginable!
