#woah #he's a big brat now
Pretty sure Scott's hiding from his dad right now.
The day Scott's dad left was literally the worst day of Scott's life. He hadn't even really said goodbye; it was more like, he bags were packed in his car when Scott got home from school, and he kind of just gave him a half-hearted wave as he went on his way. He stayed home for three days after that. Mostly just because he was afraid he'd go back to school and come home to find his mom doing the same thing to him. It was his fault his dad had left, after all.
Scott had always known his dad wasn't proud of him. Maybe it started with the inhaler. Maybe it had shattered a father's dream of having a son who was actually good at sports, one he could show up to games for and cheer the loudest whenever he made the winning shot. Or maybe it was because Scott looked more like his mom. Or maybe it was because Scott wasn't as smart as Stiles or as loud and rambunctious, choosing instead to be the quiet little boy in the corner than anything. Maybe it was just because of that one Halloween where Scott chose to be a kitty instead of Batman. Scott didn't know. But what Scott did know was this: the first time Scott scored that winning goal in lacrosse, it was his dad that he wanted to call. He wanted to tell him everything; he wanted to tell him that maybe he wasn't such a disappointment after all, and maybe he could prove it, if his dad would just give him another chance. But at the end of the day, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Because as far as Scott's dad was concerned, Scott had picked Melissa over him anyway, never mind the fact that it had never really been a choice to begin. Because why would Scott pick someone who wouldn't have picked him, if given the chance?
[outofcharacter.] no big deal. just crying over scott/daddy mccall and scott/mama mccall, all while still crying over scott/stiles. just leave me here to diE. also, i'm always up for rps. so if you guys wanna plot, come to me. Also, i'm still looking for new people to follow, so let me know who!
[txt] there's nothing e l s e to discuss, now is there? [txt] not at the moment, because i'm on the clock-- [txt] you think I want to see OUR son? Oh wait, YOUR son, [txt] my apologies
[txt msg] ...
[txt msg] you're damn right, he's my son. it's not like you ever deserved to be called his father, anyways.
[txt] well then [txt] your unhelpful sheriff has been reported missing [txt] and of course rules are that we need to know of his whereabouts [txt] it's protocol
[txt msg] that's all I'm going to answer questions about.
[txt msg] I'm working rn, but if you come into the ER you can go through procedure. that's ALL, though.
[txt msg] you'd better stay away from Scott while you're in town.
