Daehwan breathes, slowly savoring the high, inky lashes fluttering as he combs his fingers through his hair. It's hot, sticky like the middle of summer but he knows better than that. He knows the sound caught in his throat is a sigh, demeaning any other time but he's too gone to care. It doesn't hurt, quite the opposite actually when fangs detach from his neck and a steady stream of blood trickles down his collar. He has the nerve to whimper because just a little bit more, a little bit longer.  The blood is no longer roaring in his ears, and the silence is so sweet he could melt right there on the spot. He craves the bite like a fine chocolate, an expensive wine that he doesn't have the money to pay for and it's driving him insane. Daehwan knew better, he'd be nothing but sinews thrown together in some pile of no longer anything if he were drained any longer. That's what it does to you, cloud your thoughts---make you want to die for a little more poison. A blood whore knows better. Daehwan knew better.
