Guys fellas people, I love Carver with my whole heart. Sure he can be a jerk a lot of the time but no character in DA is just one thing, Carver isn't an exception. Being on the run his whole life, not really having a typical childhood, all because people he loves most are in danger just for who they were born as and there is nothing he can do about it. And on top of that feeling left out and not enough due to his parents putting everyone else in the family above him because of magic.

From his perspective one thing tied to all the bad in their life and the only thing he can blame — is magic. He can't put that responsibility on his loved ones, they don't control it, I don't even think he ever blamed Malcolm for prioritizing Bethany and mage!Hawke. Blaming magic was always just an outlet, because he could never blame his family, he loves them too much

And that complex knot of feelings just turned him resentful and snappy, not being able to have a tangible thing to blame or fix it. Don't even get me started on Carver always living in a golden child's shadow, his big brother Hawke. Again the duality of admiring, striving to be like him, yet feeling he can never reach the heights of a "perfect" child no matter how hard he tries, just because he's not Hawke

Anyway, I love our baby brother and will never tolerate Carver slander

I have very complicated feelings about Sebastian. I mean I loved him in da2, but then he invaded Kirkwall in dai looking for Anders and that's just a bit much imo👁👁 Tbf he could've just went there, asked around like any other person and realize no one likes Anders there as well(that's my guess after da2 finale) and don't know where he is. Invasion a bit overboard for a task like this

Other than that loved that guy lmao. His voice tingles so something in my brain

Drawing (almost)every character from Dragon Age Origins — Part 1/18, Oghren

Oghren wasn't my favorite character in Origins by far, but he was growing on me in the Awakening. He's like that one drunk uncle of the family that everyone tolerates cause he's family and sometimes actually funny. And I'm glad you could see him starting to change a bit during DAA.

Finally got my hands on my project of drawing little portraits for every major character from each game, so there will be posts with da2 and dai as well (no datv yet but I will make those when I get to playing it, I promise 😶‍🌫️).

My list contains mainly of just companions, DLCs included, plus a couple NPCs. The list might expand if I decide to add other NPCs as well. Feel free to ask me to add some characters from all three games that you want to see!

Trauma of everything that happened in the Fereldan Circle left him unable to view magic as anything but a nightmare waiting to overcome him at every corner. Thankfully by the end he found the last smidge of sense that led him to become the man we all know and love in dai

Only recently found out some people don't like Leandra and I was shoocketh👁👁 I love her and her death was one of the most devastating things in DA series. I mean, sure, she wasn't perfect but nobody is, especially in DA. She did her best and loved her children more than anything
