Downtime - Guild Wars 2

We all need a bit of relaxation after a day of heroics.

Daelegan, Llefay and Camhanach love to dance, to express themselves. Tues seeks out a bar brawl to keep her wits and strength up. Octavia cooks, and Lavintus performs the haka in solitude. Ryon relaxes outside the hustle and bustle of the city, sunning himself in the warm Krytan sunshine. Dyon worships the Gods, thanking them for getting him through his endeavours. Twins Lyanna and Fyona love to watch events, one in a more upstanding manner, the other likes to really encourage the participants. Kyrsti takes to a inn that everyone forgot. Hidden away, she can drink in solitude and peace. Xandyr helps out at the local carnival, performing endless wonders of magic to entertain. Zayn enjoys an evening in, having a nice dinner, and being able to relax. Tryss almost always hunts to relax. Norns, Svana and Ælfred love to hang out with their friends. Svana in a more dignified manner, Ælfred more jovial. Finally, Liocca, master genius, researching all manner of concoctions and experiments, to Bibtekk, the inventor and golemancer.

Meet Daelegan

As a Sylvari, Daelegan originally had the Dream. In it, it was foretold that he would one day partake in a Wyld Hunt to find and defeat the elder dragon, Zhaitan. Awaking from this dream in 1325AE, Daelegan quickly made his way in the world of Tyria. Partnered in crime with his ‘sister’ Arliette, the two delved into the troubles of the Sylvari, be it from threats of the Nightmare, or the threat of the Elder Dragons. Daelegan, with his light hearted, and often absent minded personality, was never tempted into the Nightmare. No, he was perfectly happy connected to the Dream. Despite his flamboyant appearance, and brightly coloured garments, Daelegan is quite shy, and relies normally on the verbose, Arliette, when conflict is dealt with discussion. 

In his quest to kill Zhaitan, his paths crossed with that of the Order of Whispers. Joining them in taking on the Elder Dragon was a tough decision. Daelegan doesn’t consider himself particularly brave, and the thought of his Wyld Hunt daunted him somewhat. To take a more active role in fulfilling it was a scary thought. However, that was when he met his mentor, Lightbringer Tybalt Leftpaw. With Tybalt’s bubbly and calm personality, Daelegan swiftly felt at ease. 

Currently, after much heartbreak and tragedy along the way, Daelegan is taking the fight to the Elder Dragon through the risen Kingdom of Orr. His weapon of choice comes in the form of a natural attunement to elemental magic. Daelegan harnesses the healing forces of water, and the swiftness of the air to his benefit. His training in fire took some work however, due to his aversion to the flames. Understandably so, given his own flammability.
