the way you let me in on secrets (that are already mine)
this is a type list for my most recent mafia au!!
in my AU, people are born with a type that is not hereditary. It usually presents by age 3, and it shapes the personality of the person. of course, there are exceptions to the types.
along with some types come magical abilities (or phenomenon that cannot be explained using science).
there are social stereotypes usually associated with the types (eg. a PC-T is air-headed, K-Ts are gym rats, V-Ts are evil, etc.) especially for the the V-Ts, there’s a social stigma that comes along with the type as many other Types associate them with evil. there was a villain rebellion somewhere along the years that caused people to further turn their backs on the V-Ts.
all these types kind of get affected around DP-Ts and may or may not start singing, depending on how strong their resolve is.
anyway let’s get onto actually explaining the types like i’m supposed to be doing:
V-T aka Villain Type:
very creative!!!
insanely good talkers / very eloquent
naturally charismatic (something about them just draws people in)
A++ planning skills
but they’re also good at coming up with things on the fly if they need to
very good at convincing people
clumsy as heck though
expect them to be able to solve / accomplish very difficult tasks, but fail miserably at the simple things
quite oblivious
K-T aka Knight Type:
great fighters
awesome physiques (always very healthy!!)
great faces (many K-Ts tend to be models or celebrities because of their faces)
very courageous in different ways, depends on each individual K-T, so it could be true courage or just foolhardiness
e x t r e m e l y loyal
heart of gold
very passionate about what they do
kind of obsessive sometimes
T-T aka Townsperson Type:
the most ordinary of the Types
tries to stay out of drama as much as possible, but more often than not, they’re collateral damage
life can get kind of hard for them but they just move on
can get kind of pessimistic at times, it’s either that or savagery
very sweet and kind people!!
extremely helpful (though they can go overboard with all the help they shower upon you from the goodness of their hearts)
kind of selfless
great singers, though they tend to be subvocals more than the main vocals (doesn’t make their voices any less melodious)
S-T aka Shaman Type:
very sharp intuition!! really strong 6th sense always trust the gut feel of an S-T
strong shaman types can actually perform small spells, but these are random since their magic energy comes in random spikes
you can tell who’s a S-T by the small magics of life, like measuring the exact amount of flour needed just by randomly pouring out some, flipping to a channel just as the ads end and the show starts up again
S-Ts are kind of aloof and tend not to be surprised at anything
RBFs are strong
they’ve each got small magic abilities given to them, like soothsaying/shapeshifting
really extra most of the time
PC-T aka Prince Charming Type:
can kind of be regarded as the perfect human being
they’re really talented and pick up things really easily (ends up with them having this large set of skills)
really polite, they’re the least likely to sass you both ways to Africa
tend to have a strong emotional attachment to things they really like
also they love their parents a lot, and will do anything for them (like i’m just saying, they love their parents and show it way more often and in crazier ways than the other Types)
trendsetters!!
usually the ones having hipster cafes/bakeries that are really successful because of the interesting themes
short attention span though
DID-T aka Damsel in Distress Type:
unluckiest beings on the planet
they don’t go actively searching for drama, drama finds them
usually have really dainty personalities
just can’t get a break, poor them, they’re usually really tired by the time the day ends
if you get injured a lot or bad incidents keep happening to you, you’re probably a DID-T (or collateral damage)
when they’re tired, they tend to get sulky and petulant
by the way you can never win an argument against a DID-T, they’re just about the best debators on the planet
they have the prettiest smiles
with all the shit they get into, it’s no wonder they’re good at screaming/falsettos
C-T aka Child Type:
is the most-well loved of all the types
cute, pure, wonderful cinnamon rolls
amazingly nice and adorable you really just want to squish them
super optimistic!! very bright and is basically the energizer bunny in human form (or a vitamin, your choice)
good as heck at manipulating others as a result (if they know how to)
mostly they don’t want to because they’re generally too nice
very hardworking and listens to advice well
affectionate!! subtle or out there, it doesn’t matter, C-Ts love skinship
they can eat a lot!! like bottomless pits for stomachs!! (kind of varies from a case to case bassis)
H-T aka Healer Type:
good at looking after people
mothering others is in their blood, but they suck at taking care of themselves
H-Ts are generally really zen and calm (it’s either this or they’re at the opposite end of the spectrum and are l o u d, but they’re still very quiet when they’re tired, upset, or have nothing to say)
good listeners and offer great advice
they have an awesome memory
guitar playing?? they tend to be good at acoustic guitar, but electric guitar is fine for them too
have this special ability to heal injuries, but they can’t bring people back to life
can get kind of lazy
DP-T aka Disney Princess Type:
okay honestly this is the most ridiculous of the types
ahh, yes, DP-Ts, rarest of the types
kind of delicate looking, but they can also be like really strong so don’t let that fool you
really spontaneous people (okay, maybe impulsive is a better word)
they have a natural ability to dance gracefully
no matter what happens, they look impeccably neat and at their best. they look good in ANYTHING (which is so unfair you wouldn’t believe-)
they can talk to animals (the world is unfair, we know)
sings well, they have awesome tone and are always on pitch
the only problem is, the DP-Ts aren’t that well received because they’re rare and different and people don’t like that
also they cause people to stop what they’re doing at any random time and break out into a dance number what do you expect
