“do you seriously believe nothing weird is going on?”
@daelupyre gets iceman!!!
graduating top gun had not been the end of tom’s career. in fact, it had been the beginning, really. he had continued to be promoted in rate, now a commander of his own unit based in charleston, south carolina. they were waiting on a ship to be repaired and during that time, had been given a side mission to patrol the abandoned hospital on the old naval base. the sailors all heard the locals say it was haunted as hell, and a few of them spooked themselves so bad on night watch that tom had reluctantly (and with a heavy roll of his eyes) volunteered for the night shift.
things had been uneventful until he heard the sound of soft footsteps coming from down the hall. with a raised brow, he went to check it out, turning off his flashlight as he rounded a corner into a room where the moonlight hit just enough to illuminate half the room.
tom kazansky did not believe in ghosts. not the way most did, that is, so the worst case scenario he thought he’d find was crazy joe in his three jackets in the sweltering south carolina heat. what he did not expect, however, was a young girl with---were her eyes glowing? that was not a color he’d ever seen a human’s eyes turn. surely it was the fact that he hadn’t had much sleep today. he rubbed his eyes, letting them refocus on her.
“what are you doing in here, ma’am? i’m sure you’re aware, this area’s off limits to civilians,” he said firmly.
@daelupyre sent a ▲ for my muse's reaction to yours: attack hugging them
Jade had learnt quickly that Alyx was perhaps not the most affectionate person at first sight, hard around the edges. But she also found out, not long after they started dancing around each other, that she also could be incredibly sweet. And totally impulsive. So when the light sound of footsteps registered in her ears, she barely had time to react before finding herself with her arms full of the other girls. The hug sending her stumbling backwards. A quiet ‘oof’ left her lips before an amused smile settled on them. “ Hey you, wasn’t expecting to see you right now. Thought we were up for tonight?... --Not complaining, though.” She clarified, hands pressing to the girl’s clothes to keep her close.
@daelupyre
Alyx,
Thanks for writing to me. I wasnt sure if anyone would actually write to me or not. I get a bunch of letters already but its from teens who want to be me or women who think their love will save my soul. Its no one i want to talk to so i appreciate you reaching out. Prison is pretty okay actually. I mean dont get me wrong i want to be out but i made it as comfortable as i can if i have to be here. No no im not in a gang by any means. That shit is not my thing. Ive been here long enough that i have alot of seniority so that helps. The food is shit but luckily im a master at cooking with commissary food. Especially ramen. So what all am i missing on the outside? Besides smart phones. Ive seen a few come through here and its pretty amazing how things have changed on phones and dont even get me started on understanding the point of tik tok. I know a few of the guys in here make videos for it. Not the smartest thing but i care more about getting out than they do i suppose. So tell me more about you and how you managed to find yourself on a inmate penpal site? I got to imagine you’re pretty different if you’re willingly writing to me. Looking forward to hearing from you,
Billy
fari immediately shucks her shirt, ducking behind the bed to shed the rest of her clothes. she changes before there was really an opportunity to see anything. now she outweighs alyx, likely stronger than her as well. the lion springs up on her hind legs, wrapping front paws around the girl’s neck and promptly hauling her onto the bed.

' don't you DARE even THINK about throwing me ! ' ( i had to )
it's an intense stare for just a moment , as if gauging just how much seriousness she was holding in her tone . though it seemed a lot -- michael's hardly giving mind and he's quick to snatch the hybrid up briefly , and nearly tossing her as hard as he can ... no regrets about it .
@daelupyre / liked for a starter
Her body aches, each step she takes sending shockwaves of pain through the bruises littering her body. It'd been too long since she'd expended any sort of physical effort and being thrown into battle because of her bullheaded nature only really proved that she should stay in the back where it's safer. Some of the witches had helped the rest of them take care of their wounds, but there were still a few things that would have to be healed on their so as to not tap out their resources. Even despite the pain, Josie's mind is elsewhere. They want to go to Alyx, of all people, to sit and rest and.. maybe learn more about her. And maybe that's stupid, maybe they're making the wrong decision, but their feet still carry them towards her.
When she arrives, she can do nought else but sit and breathe and try to ignore the burning, blossoming bruises on her torso. "Told you I'd be back." Josie's words are said through a pained smile, but a smile nonetheless.
