Woo here we go, to start with I absolutely adore how both of them see their relationship in completely different ways, Dafyyd believing they're both already moirails while Deckay believes that Daf is so far out of her reach and that they'd never become moirails. Not to mention Deckay still feeling partially guilty for his death considering half of the reason they were executed was because he was sheltering her even after limes were set to be exterminated, but Dafyyd doesn't feel that way at all considering he didn't even know that was happening and he was just happy to have Deckay with him at all times. And I also adore the way that even in death their dynamic hasn't changed at, Deckay is still there to listen to Daf and stop him from doing stupid shit while he's just there keeping Deckay from completely succumbing to her self loathing without realizing. Also the fact that Deckay is acutely aware of her death while Daf barely realizes he's dead is just so fun. They have a near perfect manzai comedy dynamic to me and I smile so much when I think about them. I really want to do a deep dive into their past using an animatic or something but I just can't find a song that fits them.
