Junior boys drabble👀👀
ask and ye shall receive

“Why are they in here?” Lack looked at the two bickering boys who sat on the couch from where he was standing in the kitchen. They were arguing over something stupid no doubt, but Lack didn’t particularly feel like tuning in. Instead he looked to who the question was directed at.
Soudo was in the kitchen cooking for them at the moment, he was all smiles as usual and Lack figured he was tuning them out just as he was.
“Sun said that we could save on hotel costs if we all shared a room,” he said, Lack wasn’t sure if it bothered him or not.
“He knows there’s only two beds, right?” he asked, “I’m not giving up my bed for them.”
“Sun already said he would take a chair, and X is taking the couch,” Sou assured him.
“Good.”
“Happy as ever I see,” Sou sighed and set out food on the counter.
As soon as the bowls touched the countertop X and Sun were there, both hungry and ready for a good, quality meal. The argument from before had seemingly left their minds entirely and Lack wondered how they put in the energy. Watching them made him exhausted sometimes. That didn’t stop him from getting baited into arguments of his own occasionally though.
Lack sat down a seat away from them to eat his own, though Sou sat between him and Sun and started up conversation. He wasn’t really sure how he had gotten to be what they considered good friends; he wouldn’t complain though.
“We should watch a movie,” Sun said, “It’ll pass the time since there’s nothing really going on until tomorrow.”
They all agreed, but what none of them had settled on was a movie. Lack sat to the side while they all bickered until he was eventually pulled into the argument too. It wasn’t a heated one, it never got too bad between everyone, which he was a bit thankful for. He wasn’t a fan of the idea of his group breaking up unannounced.
It took them almost half an hour to decide on a movie, and even then, Sun was a bit pouty about it since it wasn’t the movie he had wanted to see. They had all compromised and done a match of rock paper scissor for it, in which X miraculously won.
Sou didn’t seem to mind much and Lack found he didn’t really care now that he thought about it. He would probably leave for bed earlier than them anyways.
Though what Lack hadn’t been counting on was that as the movie played, he seemed to be drifting off. The other three sat with him on the couch, and luckily, he had the arm of the couch to lean on, but he couldn’t really find the drive in him to actually get up and go to bed. He wouldn’t admit that he may be a bit invested in the movie.
These were both new things to him. Things he hadn’t really experienced during his time with the police. He glanced over to the other three and saw that they were all asleep. Sou was at the other end leaning on the arm like he was, and Sun and X were between them, leaning on each other snoring. An empty feeling he was use to that ate at him during this time of day usually, wasn’t there this time. He wasn’t alone.
Lack sighed, though a small smile cracked across his features, “Friends… are good I suppose,” he mumbled.
“We love you too.”
Lack heard a chuckle and glanced over quickly again. X and Sun were still asleep, but Sou had a grin on his face once again, even if his eyes were closed. Lack turned his gaze back to the movie.
“Yeah… whatever.”
