Helsinki rock undergrounders, Daggerplay, blast outtheir anthemic declaration of peace, National Day.

Helsinki, Finland— Daggerplay released their editorialized single and video National Day on the eve of Finland's independence day.

Born from anxiety towards anger and hatred spreading around in their native country Finland, and the world, Daggerplay's anti-violence punk rock wake up call, National Day slams open a rough picture of the current state of their homeland, Finland.

"Regarding some recent gallups, apparently we are ”the happiest nation in the world”. However, I completely disagree. This ongoing discord happening in the media and social media, with relatively high suicide and crime rates adding to rapidly growing inequality, tells another story.

That is what National Day is about ", states Daggerplay's vocalist andguitarist Pekko Mantzin.

Pekko Lead Singer of The Finland Punk Rock Band, Daggerplay Talks Music!

Music Monday Artist From Helsinki, Finland, the punk rock´n´roll band, Daggerplay came together in 2011. Lead vocalist and guitarist Pekko Mantzin, guitarist and vocalist Tommi Luostarinen, bassist and backing vocalist Bryan Ugartechea, and drummer Sirpa Immonen are the band members.
