Meet Bayangitan, which is Pangasinanse for the Daggertooth Pike Eel.
Their English name refers to their dagger-like teeth that they use to eat other fish and some crustaceans. They can grow up to 7 feet long, and are found in estuaries and other areas close to the shore on soft bottom habitats. Sometimes they enter freshwater environments as well!
Fishbase lists more local names like Banusak, Egat (Bisaya), Kurarato (Ilokano), Langing (Maranao, Tausug), Obod or Ubod (Bikol, Hiligaynon, Bisaya, Waray), Pindanga (Kampangan, Tagalog), and Tawtih (Chavacano).

In one universe, the Maximal Daggertooth scanned a smilodon fossil as the basis for her beast mode. Unfortunately that universe was a short-lived one, existing only as a result of the timestorm created by the machinations of Galvatron and Megatron. Daggertooth was last seen acting as Optimus Primal's bodyguard as he charged into battle against those temporal tyrants.
