‘the monkey-rope’ chapter is very interesting... everyone always talks about ishmael’s part in it, what with their fates being tied together, but while thats quite interesting in its own right, i also cant help but wonder about the roles of tashtego and daggoo - them hurling the lances in an attempt to help queequeg, whilst actually putting him in more danger for it. theres something in that, cant quite say what yet, but its very potent, i guess - theres something there, i just cant place my finger on what! definitely something to think about
