               His few words did nothing to stop the tenseness in her whole body. Teeth were subtly bared and she was appearing more than ready to make her move the second she was presented with the opportunity. Too bad for her that her fight and flight responses were at war with each other, leaving her somewhat frozen in place. “Yeah? And how’s that meant to make me feel better?” Scared as she may be, her words still held onto their bite.

               “Completely, or are there tiny bits of truth scattered in? That’s generally how this kind of thing works, isn’t it?” Or at least that’s how all the stories he’d been told or read growing up often went... but then again, as he was growing up he ws raised to believe that the hunters were the good guys. Nose was wrinkled a little before doing his best to track her down with tired eyes. “They always say that myths and legends are built on a grain of truth, right?”

      Finn was able to discreetly appear behind her. Fingers moving to rest on either side of her waist. Face burrowing into her hair, right at the crook of her neck. “Darling.” He mumbled, pressing a soft kiss before pulling away. “--What are you doing? How has Gabriel been today?” It was less than six hours and Finn felt like he had missed at least twenty four. Some could call his love for the two of them an obsession, but he did not care. 

He wanted to ask how she was feeling, make sure her cravings were under control. Finn was trying to respect her boundaries, trust her enough to tell him if something was wrong. Luckily he was immortal and the stress wouldn’t put him in the grave.
