Just got this copy of Bellaclava in the mail but Discogs tells me it doesn't drop until March 6th. I guess you know that means you better get on that preorder, if it's still up. Word on the street is that there are only 300 copies so sorry in advance if its sold out already. This is ONE OF but not my #1 favorite Limblifter/Dahle-adjacent releases, but it's probably #2. Ariel vs. Lotus is actually the song that introduced my non-Candian ass to Limblifter because it was big enough to make it onto the Much Music circuit, etc. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want I/O on vinyl, but I will be patient and thankful for the fact that they've come this far in making Bellaclava available for the first time. I know so little about the Canadian, and especially Vancouver-ish, scenes from the early 2000s except that some of my favorite albums of all time came out of the fertile landscape at the time (I'm lookin at you, Matthew Good Band - Beautiful Midnight). I do know that everything Ryan Dahle touched(s) is golden and I'm sad I've never been able to see them. I suggested they come stateside to Seattle for a show and some jabroni told me I should go to Vancouver. GUESS WHAT BUDDY?!
