It kills me that Maam clearly wants to go back just as desperately as Dai does but she’s putting her own feelings aside because she knows that right now Leona needs their help far more. They can’t risk going to help Hyunckel and possibly getting into a fight with Hadlar when they’re on such a time limit. Dai is young enough that he hasn’t really learned yet that sometimes your feelings can’t take precedent over what has to be done.

I like that Popp realizes what she’s doing here too and feels like he wouldn’t be able to be as strong willed as she is and put his feelings aside like that. He’s very aware of what his weaknesses are now for sure.

Well, neither of them seems to have been able to land another hit yet but Hadlar does seems to be struggling some even though he’s the one using two hands to fight.

Oh damn, that’s really cool how Crocodine uses the wind power of his axe to create a protective barrier around himself there. He uses it in the manga too, but there it’s more like he blows a hole in the lava with it instead of really seeing him dive in like this.

Also I guess he must have arrived like seconds after Dai and the others left if they didn’t see him.

Also it’s hilarious that this is actually the second time poor Popp’s been hit in the face with herbs. ^^;; Maam and Hyunckel are on the same wavelength there.
