Happy Birthday!!!
thank !!!!!! u !!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
hi ched! i look up to you as an artist and as a person and i was wondering if you have any advice for someone who struggles to show their art to people? its been a problem for me lately and you really do motivate me to become better. thank you so much in advance and have a good day!
Thank you! I’ve also struggled with this for many years. Even when I posted my art frequently, it was always difficult to balance my self-consciousness and my desire for feedback and validation. It’s important not to let the former outweigh the latter. But it’s also important to recognize that having eyes on your art is in many ways a means to an end, not the end goal. It’s much less important than honing your skills for your own sake, but getting feedback is also a crucial part of the improvement process. So practice humility, prepare yourself for all kinds of feedback, to have your mistakes seen and acknowledged, and put your art out there anyway. It doesn’t have to be perfect, nor should it be! Embrace the uncertainty and let others embrace your work, for all its flaws
