Back To You

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack. 

Well, not exactly. Although, I have missed being able to blog and rant about my life. My life is pretty hectic and as much as I want to go back to my life spending a minimum of 10 hours on tumblr, I can't.

School is incredibly draining. I had thought that the first semester was grueling. Apparently, it was a cakewalk compared to this semester. And we're only on our second week. It's crazy to say the least.

With all that's been going on, I haven't been really able to sort through and sift out my feelings about Ian and his family migrating. Honestly though, I do not want to dwell on it.

I also discovered something about myself now. As it turns out, my handwriting is incredibly legible and cursive-y and loopy and fantastic IF I use a Pilot G-Tech 0.4 pen. 

Hahaha. I finally have the handwriting I'm dreaming of. 

Anyway, I was able to blog now because my mom lent her laptop me. My former laptop is currently on the brink of death. Almost all of the keys on the keyboard don't work now. This frustrates me immensely.

On the plus side, my mom got me an iPad for school! It's awesome! I put the cases and books we have to read in it so I wouldn't have to trouble myself with actually printing it out. Plus, UC has free Wi-Fi service so yeah, awesome iPad is awesome. 

I suppose I'd better get back to my cases now. 

I'm really serious about making it to the Dean's List this semester so I can get a 30% discount for the next semester. My 50% discount ends this semester so yeah, I really need to step it up.

Wednesday Night Blues

I've been having that kind of day where something inside you makes you feel sad for no reason at all.

And all day long I've been trying to shake that feeling off but to no avail. 

It's lucky then that we have no exams tomorrow. I don't have a clue how to study with this horrid feeling festering inside of me.

That's my current Midterm grade in Constitutional Law as of the moment. Shit. 

I know that it's still subject to a few edits here and there because of the recitation but shit man, that's the lowest grade I have ever gotten so far during the course of my entire academic life. Of course, not counting Criminal Law yet. I'd bet all my Harry Potter books that my grade in Criminal Law will not be as forgiving as the aforementioned grade given above. 

Stupid recitation that I got called on. Argh. I really have to bust my ass some more this time just so I can make enough for Finals to pass. 

Heaven help me.

Down With The Flu

Argh. I don't know where I got this from but I have the flu like you wouldn't believe. Everything hurts, my joints, my head, my throat, my back. Even texting takes a lot out of me. 

Ugh. 

I hate being sick like this. I have the fever and colds and just ARGH. 

What was supposed to be a long weekend vacation turned into days of awfulness. I just. Erm.

Even my thoughts can't be coherent. 

Sigh. To top it all off, I can't even see Ian. How horrid is that? Ugh.

Midterms: Day 6

Topic: Legal Research

So, today was the last day of our midterms. I HOPE I did alright. 

I checked the answers to my our Criminal Law exam and I'm pretty much expecting the worst. 

Long weekend's here! Yay? But I'm gonna be spending the next few days digesting cases and reading up for our PFR Quiz when we get back. Sigh. 

Anyway, I'm really glad that I only caught the cold AFTER exams.

God knows how horrible that would've been to go through exams and the case of the common cold at the same time.

After exams, Ian and I joined some of my classmates for dinner and drinks at Gilligan's but we had to duck out early because my mom, sister, and cousins were expecting us at SM. 

We watched The Reunion. A bit funny but the story was kinda messy and all over the place. Anyway, I'm rearing to watch all my favorite comedies and snuggle in my bed. Here's to a semi-fun weekend.

Midterms: DAY 5

Topic: Criminal Law

Well, the most dreaded of my exams is over. I needed to get a perfect score on this exam just so I can raise my grade but I after that ordeal, I don't know.

I guess all I can do now is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Also, I hope I can manage to raise my grade when Finals come. 

Ah, so much work, so much pressure. 

After the exam, I felt so weak and drained. I could barely keep myself upright. 

Hahaha. Anyway, I really, really want to cry right now.

Never, in all my life, have I ever been at a point where I was worrying about passing. I guess there's a first time for everything, eh?

Oh well, off to review. 

I hope tomorrow will be kinder to me.

Midterms: Day 3 // 4

Topic: Statutory Construction

Oh mee gahd. The exam was so hard and so stressful. I think I did alright but one can never really tell. Sigh.

My arm hurts a lot. 

100 points. 75 essays. Not a good exercise on my writing arm.

So now I must review for Criminal Law, the subject that is the bane of my existence as of the moment. 

I need to PERFECT this exam, I cannot stress how much. 

A lot is riding on this exam so I must bid thee goodbye for now Tumblr.

Classes were suspended on all levels today due to the inclement weather. 

Again. And so close to the last suspension of classes too.

A grim mood has gripped the country. Perhaps it is because of the seemingly never-ending rain.

I must admit that I, myself have been in a grim mood as of late seeing as the rain just reflects my palette of emotions lately. All this gloom and doom matched with the pressure of our Midterm Examinations makes me just want to scream out loud and thereafter crawl under a rock and not come out until the sun shines again. 

If only I could. 

Alas, I cannot. Law school, despite its continued tearing at my existence, is a commitment that I chose to make. I cannot shirk my responsibilities no matter how difficult and near-impossible they may be. 

As to the rain, it is a force of nature I cannot control. If it must pour, then it will pour. However, I pray for the safety of everyone around me affected by the landslides and heavy downpours.

The sun will shine again. I believe.
