Gina's Second List Of Super Awesome Fics.

Right, initially I wrote out long reasons why they were so good. Then I accidentally closed with out saving. And I cba to do that again. So here. These are in no order (in fact, some of my favs are at the bottom)

Perfect In My Mind(Pure smuff - that is smutty fluff)

Rating: NC-17 Pairing: Kurt/Blaine Word Count: 28,300+ Summary: Kurt never thought that losing one's virginity would take so much planning. He was prepared for the "Are we ready?" talk and the "Let's be safe!" talk and all the other stuff he knew would be coming, but he wasn't expecting to have to pull out strategic military planning just to get the chance. AKA: Kurt and Blaine trying and failing to lose their virginities until they succeed, with feelings and misunderstandings and shenanigans and Puckermans along the way. Spoilers: None Warnings: Underage drinking and unprotected sex between two characters who are under 18 but of the age of consent.

Night Until Morning(if there isn't a follow up, I will cut someone)

Pairing(s): Kurt/Blaine, hint to past Kurt/OC Rating: PG-13 Word count: ~4,700 Summary: AU. It takes a plane ride and a shitload of tissues to stop crying. It doesn't take that much longer to get to know Blaine Anderson.

For Fate To Turn The Light On (genius idea. Little bit of creys but it's so good)

Rating: PG-13 Spoilers (if any): 02x16 Original Song Warnings (if any): Language, mentions of character death, homophobic language, violence, and very light sexual situations Word Count: 14,985 Summary: Everyone is born blind- literally. Falling in love with one's soulmate means gaining sight. Eleven experiences that teach Kurt Hummel about sight, love, loss, and acceptance.

Rise Up Singing (shwjglihghsdgkjr;tjigjdfisjgas;jgdjr. So cute)

Pairing: Kurt/Blaine

Rating: PG Warnings: Little to nothing. A few sexy implications. Word Count: 2259 Summary: In the time that elapsed between Blaine kissing him soft and a little too wet in the common room at Dalton and their duet at sectionals, Kurt trapped a tingling anticipatory joy in his fingertips and held it there. Four days.

Motel Story 1 | 2 | 3 (SMUFF AGAIN!)

Summary: (Part 1) “I don’t know if Santana is the best person to listen to on this subject, Kurt.” (PG-13); (Part 2) In which Kurt decides to skip the bases and head for a home run, and he and Blaine pen The Complete Dork’s Guide To Getting It On, illustrated edition. (NC-17); (Part 3) Everyone knows. No. Everyone. (NC-17) 

Sally Meets Harry  (Not one of my favourites, but still worth a read)

Rating: PG-13 Spoilers: All of season 2 Warnings (If any): AU Summary: What if Blaine fell in love first?

The Five Stages Of Getting Over Kurt Hummel(Oh I cried.. But there is awesome Blaintana)

Pairings: Kurt/Blaine Rating: NC-17 Word Count: 25,667 Spoilers: None. Warnings: Mild violence. Summary: One night during the spring of their freshman year of college, Kurt breaks up with Blaine over Skype. He claims that he misses Blaine too much due to their seven hour separation. All he ever does is miss Blaine and it's just too much for him to bear any longer, so he ends the relationship. Blaine has no warning, no inkling, nothing. At first he's in denial, then furious, then depressed. He becomes hopeful that he'll get Kurt back only to backslide again when an unexpected phone call comes his way. Back and forth Blaine bounces between the five stages of grief as he tries to do the hardest thing he's ever had to do: get over Kurt Hummel. His soulmate. The love of his life. The first and only boy to ever truly steal his heart, who had in turn ripped that heart right in two. Can Blaine repair the wounds that Kurt's hurtful actions have left behind? Or will he continue to flounder his way through those stages, never quite making it to a level of acceptance that will actually stick.

A System Of Touch (and gentle persuasion) (not a huge fan of the characterisation but otherwise very good)

Rating: NC-17 Word Count: 43,000+ words Pairings: Kurt Hummel/Blaine Anderson, minor Kurt/OMC Summary: Kurt Hummel is just shy of seventeen, fresh off his first year of glee club, and ready to spend yet another summer bumming around with the locals in the florida keys-- sunbathing and house-partying with his florida friends at his side and his lima friends on speed dial. But when a tiny, friendly, citrusy-tourist eye-candy of a boy keeps showing up around the pool, the beach, and running his rickety old bike into kurt's front hedge, kurt realizes his summer is about to get a lot more interesting. (Semi-au scenario set in the summer between sophomore and junior year.) 

As the Present Now will Later be Past (otherwise known as the best Blaine's father fic I've ever read)

Rating: PG-13 Word count: 26,067 Pairings: Kurt/Blaine; OMC/OMC; OMC/OFC; OMC/OMC. I know how that looks, but please don't be frightened off. Warnings: Strong elements of homophobia; Mentions of off-screen homophobic violence; Off-screen death of OC; Brief mention of suicidal thoughts Summary: Blaine and Kurt's deepening relationship dredges up some painful memories from Blaine's father's past. The fall-out affects not only Blaine's relationship with his dad, but his relationship with Kurt and his understanding of himself. 

Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop (I really like smuffy AUs... Almost as much as I like the word smuff)

Rating: NC-17 Summary: Kurt is an out of work performer in New York who serves in a coffee shop to make the rent. Blaine is a successful businessman, unfulfilled in his career because he followed his father’s dreams instead of his own. This is their story. Warnings (if any): Adult Content Total word count: 23, 500~

Finn's Great Confusion  (I love Finn. I love Klaine. I love good writing. Therefore, I love this fic)

Rating: R/NC-17 Warnings: no mpreg, just immensely confused Finn. Third-person Finn POV. Spoilers: set during the summer after S2 finale Total Word Count: Around 14,000 Summary: Finn thinks Kurt is pregnant. (He’s not). He knows Blaine and Kurt are having sex (thank you, thin walls) so when Kurt starts throwing up in the mornings, having mood swings, so on and so forth, Finn clocks what's going on immediately. Cue Finn going out of his way to look after his 'pregnant' brother.

The New Attractive To Me Is Divine (such an awesome concept!)

Pairing: Kurt/Blaine; Blaine/Karofsky friendship Rating: R Word Count: ~27,700 Warnings: Homophobic slurs Summary: Blaine transfers to William McKinley for his junior year. He joins the football team, where he befriends a closeted Dave Karofsky and falls for a cheerleader- Kurt Hummel.

Friday Nights At The Hudmels (It's funny and it's awesome Hudmel characterisation)

word count; 7,455 rating; pg-13 characters/pairings; kurt/blaine, rachel/finn, hudmels summary; Finn notices Blaine is always around for family dinners and pushes for Rachel to be allowed to come as well. Cue Rachel trying to compete with Blaine to be the perfect dinner guest. Shenanigans of sorts ensue.

Trying to Find the In-Betweens (I WANT CANON BLAINTANA FRIENDSHIP) 

Word Count: ~5,900 Rating: PG-13 Summary: Blaine asks Santana to talk to the jazz band one day, the next they're having a heart-to-heart under the bleachers.

Thank You, Mario, But Our Princess Is In Another Castle (Just read it, yeah?)

Rating: PG Characters: Blaine, OC (Blaine's roommate) Words: 2,465 Spoilers: 3.01, The Purple Piano Project  Summary: Blaine's roommate is kind of a Nerd Sage; he doesn't look the part, but he gives extremely good advice. After his conversation on the first day of school with Kurt in the Lima Bean, Blaine goes to Joseph, and they talk about Princess Peach, Bowser, and the Kobayashi Maru.

Memorable Disasters (or: four times Kurt and Blaine couldn't figure out how to work a long distance relationship and one time distance didn't matter.) (Funny smut. Brilliant, but makes you cringe for them.)

Rating: NC-17

Word Count:~7200 words

Summary: Future!fic. Wherein there is Rachel-approved webcam sex, needy roommates with bad timing, chain emails, the worst of craigslist, dick replicating kits, horribly inappropriate misplaced metaphors, and a moment that might actually be memorable in a way that doesn't require extensive therapy.

You Know Your Place In The Sky (Fluff with a touch of making out)

Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Kurt/Blaine (background Rachel/Finn) Word Count: 3,100+ Summary: "Where is all this coming from? Of course you're going to be a star, Rachel, we all are. We're one of a kind, there's no one else out there like-- Kurt?" Blaine breaks off, staring in horror as Kurt's face crumples and he starts to cry too. Spoilers: Takes place during episode 3x01.

Just Thursday (SO FLUFFY I MIGHT DIE BUT SMUTTY TOO - IT'S PERFECT!)

Rating: NC-17 Word count: 3400 Summary: No matter how far Kurt stretches, he is met with cool, crisp sheets entirely empty of his boyfriend. Futurefic.

As Soon As You Go (3x01 stuffs and smut and sweetness)

Pairing/Character: Blaine/Kurt Word Count: 2,479 Rating: Hard R/NC-17 Summary: He feels like a twelve year-old girl in a middle school rom-com but here he is texting Blaine like he hasn’t seen him for days. Blaine and Kurt get a little quality time.

Stay Perfect (Fluffier than candy floss made out of clouds)

Rating: PG-13 Spoilers: None. Warnings: Excessive amounts of romance. Word Count: 16,000+ Summary: Blaine is an English major, afraid to actually talk to Kurt - because he's way too perfect to be single, anyways. Encouraged by Wes and David, he starts putting notes into Kurt's mailbox - handwritten copies of Shakespearean sonnets and other love poems, signed only with the initials B.A. Kurt starts writing notes back to his almost anonymous admirer, unaware that B.A. and the really cute but probably straight guy in his World History class that he stares at all of the time and follows to the library on occasion... are the same person.

At Least Things Can't Get Any Worse / Something About Lonely Nights / The Things That Scare Us Today (Awesome development)

Word Count: ~6,500/7,000/8,600+ Rating: NC-17 Pairing: Kurt/Blaine Summary: Model!Klaine dramas and hook ups etc.

Always Be My Baby(Oh how I lol'd)

Rating: PG-13 Pairing: Kurt/Blaine

Summary: Then Blaine met Kurt, and the nicknames started happening whether he liked them or not. AKA: Blaine (Warbler) Anderson's nicknames, for better and for worse.

We Could Be Perfect One Last Night (nearly gave me a heart attack...)

Pairing(s): Kurt/Blaine Rating: NC-17 Warnings: Angst, Sex Word Count: 4500 Summary: New York was supposed to be their break. They were supposed to move and fall even more in love, and live happily ever after. The reality is they’re living in a horribly rundown apartment, they’re arguing all the time, and Kurt doesn’t even remember the last time they were intimate with each other. 

Every Word You Write And Sing (another really good Anderson family fic)

Rating: PG-13 / very, very soft R Length: ~14500 words  Warnings: non-graphic depiction of violence (relevant to Blaine's backstory revealed in 'Prom Queen'); homophobic slurs and other forms of gay-bashing, wet dreams  Characters/Pairings: Blaine-centric; Blaine/Kurt Summary: A walk through the twists and turns of poetic language in relation to father-son relationships, divorces, running away, and the boys you (eventually) fall desperately in love with. Alternatively, Blaine and his dad are poetry nerds and Kurt doesn't really get it.

Unscripted (Three Times Kurt and Blaine Almost Break Up, and One Time They Stop Trying)(IT HURTS SO GOOOOD! Mild smut, fluff and angst, all beautifully woven together.)

Warnings and spoilers: Potentially spoilers for everything as it's set long after New York, but we veer pretty far from canon anyway. Warnings? It's 20,000 words. Make the cup of tea beforehand? Rating: Vaguely R Summary: 1. They're kids, and it's the first serious decision they've ever had to make, and they're not making it well. 2. In college they have crazy roommates and maybe it's not second thoughts, for all Kurt knows Blaine's having eighteenth thoughts. 3. Maybe Kurt's a better actor than Blaine ever knew. 4. Why fight the inevitable?

Counting Stars (Only just finished this - seriously, get a fucking bath for your tears. So much angst, but also a lot of really sweet, supportive Klaine)

Welcome Post!

Hello and welcome! Basically this is an elaborate and fun way for me to organize my masterlist of fic that I've read and enjoyed. I'm a voracious reader, and I read a TON of fic, and I'm always giving recommendations to people, so I figured I'd might as well make it look pretty.

I'm open to suggestions, while I've read a lot, I'm sure I haven't read EVERYTHING, so feel free to drop your own recs in my ask for me to consider adding. I don't do RPF (personal choice, sorry CrissColfer-ers!), and I tend to shy away from extreme AU or really supernatural fics, though I do love a good HP/Glee crossover. If you can't handle smut, my list is also probably not for you, but I'll make an effort to tag ratings.

IMPORTANT: This is a work in progress. If an author or story is left off right now, its not necessarily that I don't like them, its because I'm just getting started and I can't add my whole rec list at once. For these first few weeks I'll probably do multiple recs a day, just to get off the ground.

ALSO... if you're looking for a specific fic, I'm pretty damn good at remembering plotlines and such, so ask me, and if I can find it for you I will.
