Ingredients: 1 cup flour. 1/2 cup cocoa powder. 1 cup coconut sugar. 1/2 cup vegan butter. 1/4 cup almond milk. 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips. 1/2 cup coconut cream. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and coconut sugar. Melt vegan butter in a saucepan over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until well combined. Fold in vegan chocolate chips. Transfer the batter into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. While the brownies are baking, prepare the salted caramel sauce. In a saucepan, combine coconut cream, coconut sugar, and sea salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and becomes caramel-like in consistency, about 10-15 minutes. Once the brownies are done, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the brownies. Sprinkle with a little sea salt for extra flavor. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing and serving.
