i follow dairyisntscary (pls follow them for good cow content) and the amount of hate they get from vegans and aras is just so fucking baffling.

like.

scout takes care of their cows and loves them and shows the realities and hardships of having a herd. any animal can get sick and it doesnt mean theyre mistreated. scout does everything they can (even having a cow in their apartment in an emergency) to keep these cows alive and like??

if my cat had a uti would i get mocked and shamed? if i did everything to change diet and treat it but they still succommed would i then be mob lynched for being a bad owner?

like it doesnt make sense to me! scout doesnt need to blog about cows all their posts and pics are gifts!!! stop being rude and acting like bullying one small herd owner is going to change the entire dairy industry like

The problem with dairyisntscary is that they claim to have this awesome blog with 10,000 followers so they can debunk "lies" from vegans. But can you even remember the last time they posted anything educational about dairy or beef? It's all "Beasley stinks" and "my cow died again, donations plz!" And anyone who sees a problem with this is somehow the bad guy? Let's Go, Brandon!

Ok, I have gotten multiple asks like this one so I think it's time I address this. Scout (dairyisntscary) has specifically stated that they are not a discourse or debate blog, especially about veganism, they just talk about such things occasionally. they also don't claim to have a bazillion followers or a amazing blog or anything like that.

Next, at what point, going through my blog, did you see anything relating to this topic other than occasional posts reblogged from them and a few others? This blog is mostly random stuff i thought was funny/important/interesting and fandom shit. I say that in my bio.

What I assume happened here is A) You saw I reblogged one of my post and sent this without checking out my blog, or B) did check through and are tired of those occasional posts. In the case of B, send my another ask and from now on I'll assign a tag to those kinds of posts.

Either way, it is with all of this in mind that I would like to politely ask that I stop receiving these types of asks, they are off topic and tbh: i don't really care. If I receive any in the future, they will be ignored and/or blocked depending on my mood and general judgment. Thanks for you're understanding <3

I don't understand why Scout even posted the "bi women headcanon Rey" ask. Not only is it an obvious bait ask, but it is clearly being sent by that r4cs0 guy or one of his fanboys. Not only does r4cs0 regularly say homophobic shit like that, but spreading Edgy Opinions™ about Star Wars is another running gag from his blog. He claims that George Lucas needs to apologize to the Pope, among a great deal of other bigoted weirdness.
