It must have been a decade or way more since Eurobeat became a mainstream meme and I still can't stop thinking about how when it's not a meme it is treated as rave soundtrack but… At the same time there are people like Daisuke Asakura. I know I talk about it all the time but I still really can't put into words how important his contribution to the genre is at least for me. I mean I was having a bad day so I decided to listen to his songs again and I was like "Damn he loves classical music yet he decided to go with Eurobeat? Because he likes it not just because it sells?". It really helped me to stop seeing Eurobeat as just a silly thing.
