▸ Shiho Hinomori- A very mature, realistic, and direct girl who will do anything to help out her friends (no matter how much of a hassle she seems to make it).

▸ Minori Hanasato- An unlucky girl who yearns to be an idol, but has always fallen short of it, decides to pave her own way.

▸ Kohane Azusawa- A shy and timid girl who is determined to be more than what she seems and overcome her own fears.

▸ Mizuki Akiyama- Outcasted in her own school, she finds sanctuary in this clumsily put together band.

▸ Kanade Yoisaki- She wants to help people, but is scared she won't be able to do anything to anyone who needs her help.

▸ Ena Shinonome- She craves approval, but has the tendency to act out and is very hotheaded.

▸ Airi Momoi- She's a former idol who wants to act like how she feels rather than be forced to put on a persona.

▸ Akito Shinonome- He's very passionate and dislikes conforming to society, preferring to be more direct and outspoken.

▸ Tsukasa Tenma- A boy who wants to make people happy like his sister, but also wants to break free from the pressures set on him by his family.

Ena Shinonome

She struggles with her image and appearance a lot. She desperately craves people’s approval, however, she is very hot headed and easily riled up, which can get in the way of her want for people’s favor.

Airi Momoi

A former idol and Ena’s childhood best friend who has a lot of pent up energy that she wasn’t able to use as an idol due to it not being part of her “persona.”

Akito Shinonome

A teenage boy who comes off as rude and disrespectful. He is quick to act and is always hard on himself. He, unlike his sister, does not want people to approve of him. Rather the opposite, he does not want to be accepted.

Tsukasa Tenma

He is learning to come to terms with the fact that he doesn’t have to be the responsible one anymore and doesn’t have to take care of his sister. He is slowly getting rid of his inhibitions and allowing himself to express all of his emotions, even the negative ones.

Virtual Singers

Hatsune Miku- An impatient girl who is very competitive.

Kagamine Rin- An energetic and lively girl who always acts before she thinks.

Megurine Luka- Created by Ena’s feelings. A beautiful woman who gives Ena the praise she’s looking for while also hoping to help her rise above that desire.

MEIKO- Created by Airi’s feelings. A woman who hates having a boss, she likes being the boss of herself and is very direct and blunt, but means no harm.

KAITO- Created by Akito’s feelings. He likes to show people things that one they can’t normally see.

Kagamine Len- Created by Tsukasa’s feelings. He doesn’t always seem to know what’s going on and is always quick to join in on whatever is happening even if he hasn’t a clue on what it is.

Cage Sekai

Surrounded by a tall chain link fence and a city in the distance, the Sekai is home to not much comfort. However, there are always an overabundance of items that are easily breakable for the group to use.

The only way to get to the city and out of the cage is by climbing the tall fence. Parts of it have barbed wire, but the fence is still easily climbable. The city is run down and graffitied from top to bottom with spray paint and other methods of vandalism.

Emu Otori

A girl who wants nothing more than to make others smile. She hates to see people sad and does her best to cheer people up. No matter how weird people find her, she always finds a way to put a smile on someone’s face.

Mafuyu Ashahina

She doesn’t know how to smile. Emu recruited her in hope of finding a way to make her feel genuine happiness. Mafuyu isn’t sure why she said yes, but goes along with Emu’s oddness anyways.

Saki Tenma

She struggles with an illness that makes it hard for her to put her all into things, but Saki was keen on putting hope into other people. She wants people like her to know they can get better and believe they can also get better.

Shizuku Hinomori

A former idol and now model who originally became an idol for the same reason of why Emu had. However, she left because of the bad relationships between her and her group members. Emu doesn’t want Shizuku to have such a poor outlook on being an idol and is determined to make her feel better about it.

Virtual Singers

Hatsune Miku- A shy idol who has a surprisingly powerful stage presence.

MEIKO- An experienced and professional idol with lots of advice to give.

KAITO- Created by Emu’s feelings. Takes on a fatherly role towards Emu and the group.

Kagamine Len- Created by Mafuyu’s feelings. A childish boy who doesn’t know a lot about being an idol.

Kagamine Rin- Created by Saki’s feelings. A girl with lots of energy who loves to sing, but is a rather poor dancer.

Megurine Luka- Created by Shizuku’s feelings. An amazing dancer and longtime idol, but she struggles with being in the spotlight.

Party Room Sekai

There are lots of party rooms with many decorations such as balloons, streamers, presents, etc. There are small stages for people to perform on and a bigger one in the main hall where the big celebrations take place. It is a very lively and cozy place.

Presents often appear in the main hall for certain group members when new feelings or emotions arise.

Shiho Hinomori

Leader, bassist

(Took on the leadership role due to her experience and more serious attitude, but she isn’t very confident in her leader abilities)

The most mature and experienced of the group. Doesn’t like when the band doesn’t take practices seriously and does her best to help out everyone.

Minori Hanasato

Vocalist

(Originally the guitarist, but she struggled to keep up and learn the basics, let alone play on the same level as her friends)

An aspiring idol who’s tried and failed countless times in her attempts of becoming one. After meeting someone she looked up to and finding out what the idol life was really about, she decided to create a band with her friends to still let herself have that same amount of celebrity status and hopefully influence people all the same.

Kohane Azusawa

Drummer

(Despite her timid nature, she rather likes playing loud instruments, especially ones so easy to get lost into—like the drums)

She’s always been very shy and wanted to stand out more, so Kohane was very enthusiastic join Minori’s spur of the moment idea.

Mizuki Akiyama

Guitarist

(She’s never played before, but it was a quick skill for her to pick up due to how often she was alone at home doing nothing)

She stopped attending school from the harsh remarks and subtle bullying she received from her classmates, only coming in a few times a month when her attendance really depended on it. However, she finds a safe place in the band and feels like she can be true to herself.

Virtual Singers

Hatsune Miku- A girl with bouncy twin tails who loves to help others lended her garage to the band for them to use.

Kagamine Len- The face of the Garage Sekai. An energetic boy who plays lots of instruments in a more mediocre fashion due to his ideas of playing whatever he wants to without the want to become good.

KAITO- Created out of Shiho’s feelings. He teaches her to relax more and help her with her self doubt in her abilities.

Kagamine Rin- Created out of Minori’s feelings. She loves to dance and teaches Minori and the others how to add some fun into her performances rather than just standing still.

MEIKO- Created out of Kohane’s feelings. She helps her learn how to stand up for herself and slowly lose her self consciousness.

Megurine Luka- Created out of Mizuki’s feelings. She helps Mizuki feel more comfortable in the band and reassures her when she is feeling fragile.

Garage Sekai

An empty garage with nothing but some plugs and shelves. Decorated with paint as the emotions of the band evolve as well as through physical influence—such as everyone painting the wall together.

Outside the garage is a small cul de sac neighborhood with lots of outdoor games set up, such as basketball hoops, cornhole boards, a volleyball sandpit, and all of their respective materials.

Nene Kusanagi

She wants to express herself, but always finds herself too shy or scared to do so. She often will use just about any excuse she can think of just to get out of doing something she fears. This has cost her training on her talents, leaving her with an amazing and talented but unfortunately amateur voice.

Ichika Hoshino

She feels like it’s her fault that her childhood friendship broke up and can’t stop thinking about it and how it went wrong.

Honami Mochizuki

She hates doing anything for herself or being seen as selfish, and is overly critical of herself as a result. She struggles to be true to herself because of this.

Kanade Yoisaki

A girl who wants to make people feel things with her music, but she feels as if anyone who gets involved with her will have something bad happen to them.

Virtual Singers

Hatsune Miku- A young girl who has troubles falling asleep at night and is always tired.

Megurine Luka- A woman who wants to make others feel comfortable and at home in the sekai. She allows them to use the cloudscape for whatever purpose and likes it especially when they use it for rest.

Kagamine Len- Created by Nene’s feelings. He likes to play games but gets worn out rather easily. He loves learning new things but falls asleep if he’s still for too long.

MEIKO- Created by Ichika’s feelings. A busy woman who manages the skies and its weather. She recognizes negativity, but doesn’t see it herself, she somehow always is able to see how it’s good.

Kagamine Rin- Created by Honami’s feelings. She is shy and insecure, she is constantly having to be reassured by others.

KAITO- Created by Kanade’s feelings. He doesn’t speak much and often overexerts himself, but his actions speak far louder than anything he could express verbally.

Cloudscape Sekai

A fluffy and cozy place that is easy to fall asleep in. The ground is made of clouds with a material reminiscent of cotton balls and fuzz. There seems to be a haze over the atmosphere that makes it appear even more dreamy.

There is weather in the Sekai, managed by MEIKO, but it is affected by the feelings of the group.

Haruka Kiritani

Leader

A former idol who didn’t want the pressure of being people’s hero anymore and decided to live a more lowkey life.

An Shiraishi

Haruka’s childhood best friend. She was the one to convince Haruka to make music with her and relax. She loves having fun and wants to help others be more carefree and less stressed.

Toya Aoyagi

The son of a classical musician and a childhood prodigy. He’s always lived by clear and strict rules, but yearns for freedom from these rules. He met An and was persuaded by her to join their musical group to help him feel more at ease.

Rui Kamishiro

An outcast in society and at school, Rui has learned to stop caring about what others think of him, but still struggles at times and even finds himself anxious when trying to make friends. He was influenced to join the group by people who didn’t care about his “weird behaviors” and liked him for him.

Virtual Singers

Hatsune Miku- A carefree girl who likes to laze around and do nothing all day.

KAITO- A man who wants to help others live less stressful lives.

Megurine Luka- Created by Haruka’s feelings. A woman with long hair that treads past her feet, she finds herself too lazy to maintain it but she loves to help others with their own appearance.

Kagamine Rin- Created by An’s feelings. A girl who loves to have fun and hangout with her friends.

Kagamine Len- Created by Toya’s feelings. A childish boy who always ropes people into games people always play as kids, he doesn’t think people should need to grow up.

MEIKO- Created by Rui’s feelings. Someone who loves eccentricities and is a bit odd herself.

Reflective Pool Sekai

A place where water seems to fill the world, separated only by a few cracked sidewalks. A city is on the horizon, but out of reach. The water is solid and able to walk on. A gentle breeze seems to always be blowing.

Each pool shows a clear reflection of a person, but sometimes they show certain reflections of people in certain moments or eras of their life, such as ones that extremely impacted them. These reflections are so clear that it is easy for one to reminisce and remember the moment as if they had just lived through it.
