MY FRIENDS!!!!!!

after MONTHS of working on it (on and off) and talking about it (on and off) i have finally FINALLY finished my johnny and kreese character study

now i have to edit it. but i fucking finished it. it's over. holy shit.

3600 words later and we've gotten to the smut portion of this fic where i get to treat my baby boy ziggy with the love and care he deserves because NO ONE HAS EVER REALLY TAKEN CARE OF ZIGGY AND NOW I GET TO DO IT RIGHT

this might be the longest one shot i have ever written and also one of the best one shots i have written like i'd put it up there with Ordinary Destruction in terms of my personal best i'm really cranking some good shit out with this one

#listen i don't ever give myself enough credit for my writing because i've got a wee bit of imposter syndrome always lingering in my brain #but i do fucking love this and i do think it actually contains my best prose and plot and YES EVEN THE BEST SMUT BECAUSE I WROTE SMUT #tbh the fact that i love it as much as i do almost guarantees no one will read it which is GREAT because this one is for me ALONE #daisywritesfic.txt

thinking about how freeing it felt to write that richie/ziggy fic and then post it with absolute glee knowing that it was destined to be a flop because that pairing doesn't exist outside of my own head.

like i know ao3 stats are basically the points system from whose line is it anyway where they're completely made up and don't matter but you never really feel how true that is until you are 1 of 2 writers on the entirety of the site with a fic for that pairing. unparalleled experience. 10/10 recommend.

one of the things i love most about writing tkk-verse is getting to explore the personalities and attitudes of some of the minor characters. i love writing susan as kind of bratty and a little mean. i love writing jimmy as a little neurotic and tommy as a bit of an instigator. it's just fun playing with these characters that feel really fleshed out in my brain despite having so little screen time in the film.
