Well, Janus does find it odd how much they have in common - same region, birth month, nearly identical height and weight, Dragon trainer. They’re personalities are quite different though,

(scuse me as I RP cuz THEY NEED TO MEET!) As the ship had reached the dock, everyone departed off the ship into Old Town, finally they were here at last. A young girl with black and blue hair looked around the town, along with her Abra companion on her shoulder. Though, she seemed distracted. The girl had her head down, a lot was on her mind and it was nothing more then a cluster. Before she could react, she bumped into another person and tumbled backwards, "A-Ah! I-I'm so sorry" she stuttered.

“Oh god, we’re finally off this fuckin’ boat!” A native yelled as an Aipom trailed behind with a goofy grin.“We’ve been off the boat for ten minutes, Dakota! You silly.” The monkey responded with a giggle.Even if the Native American was paying so much attention to her surroundings, Old Town couldn’t distract her enough when she felt physical contact with another trainer. The female flinched, barely moved by the young trainer. Her dark brown eyes made contact with the stranger, taking a moment to rub her neck in embarrassment,“Ah! My bad, I wasn’t payin’ much attention. Don’t be sorry, totally my fault~!” She replied, a confident grin across her face.The Aipom seemed interested, as he was staring up at the Abra upon the shoulder of the new trainer.

Mystery:our characters solving a mystery together

Lights were flashing and officers were keeping people back behind the ‘do not cross’ line.

The sound of heels clacking could be heard as a redheaded women in a pencilskirt and stilettos walked towards the scene. As she lifted the tape to cross a police officer tried to stop her.

“Stand down kiddo.” She said as she showed him her badge. Detective Aidan Holt, it read.

Her partner, the youngest detective in Kanto Dakota Kakkar, stood surveying the scene. Her long black braid swayed as she walked around the victim taking notes.

“You’re late.” She said as Aidan joined her.

“I got held up in traffic, what’s the situation?”

“A boy in his late teens, got bludgeoned to death by a 3-week old baguette quite recently. Someone identified him as Noctis Charbonneau but we still need to verify.”

Aidan had to hold in a laugh, there was nothing funny about murder but it wasn’t everyday someone got killed with bread.

She cleared her throat and asked: “Any suspects yet?”

“Someone claimed to see a suspicious individual around here but the man is a drunk so his statement can’t really be trusted.”

A loud yelling drew the women’s attention and when they turned around they saw a man furiously trashing around being held back by three officers.

“IT WAS OUIOUICHU!!! I TELL YOU!!! THAT VERMIN CAN’T BE TRUSTED!!!”

“I take it that is the drunkard?” Aidan said jokingly.

Dakota just hummed in confirmation, she turned towards her partner and a confident grin spread on her face.

“How about we do what we’re best at and go catch the criminal.” She said as she raised her fist in front of her.

Aidan answered with a grin of her own and bumped her fist against Dakota’s.

“You got it partner!”

“Uh yeah… that one chick I fought against with Day? She brought the really lame flygon and surprisingly the Western reject couldn’t navigate her way through a dust storm very well.” Jake chuckles at the thought then dismisses it with a wave of his hand. Although, if he did see her again she wouldn’t be free of some fair jest and play. Afterall, he did beat her ass into the dirt pretty badly in that battle.

But it would just be a little fun. They never talked much and he wouldn’t mind getting to know her better. After he gets punched in the face… who knows? Could be friends.

Day would be quick to greet a familiar face, certainly.

[[ Dakota wasn’t an enemy of his past, just an enemy in battle, so seeing her would be a treat. ;) ]]
