Good Omens Season 1 and 2 Episodes 2
Gale Dekarios of Waterdeep is the reason I have no healing! But I will always protect him.
I was initially hesitant to play Baldur's Gate 3 because Baldur's Gate 1, 2, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, and Temple of Elemental Evil have all been such important games to me. I've played them all, loved them all, and they have been so influential to me as a fantasy and D&D lover. Fortunately, Baldur's Gate 3 exceeded my expectations.

Gale Dekarios sketchy sketch 💜
Gale having a one-sided conversation with Tara about how he can't/won't confess his feelings to Tav.
We all know that Astarion has some of the best lines in the game but nobody - NOBODY - told me how softly Gale's VA delivers that "I forget my Goddess" line... the breathlessness? the yearning?? hello
In Case of Death....
I made Gale's resurrection pouch!
The background story: Since I had no idea if or when Tim Downie would be guesting at a con I could actually go to, I took a page from @athelartistry's book, and asked if she could pass along a gift from me when she went to meet him in August. She graciously agreed, and I frantically went to work!
Camp Gale was (mostly) set aside for a month while I focused on this little side project, and I am beyond thrilled with how it came out. I tooled, dyed, stitched and distressed the leather all by hand; learned how to age paper (super easy, actually); discovered that painting faux wood texture is not my favourite (as opposed to faux metal, which I love); and got myself a very silly quill fountain pen for the purposes of inking the letter markings (fountain pens are SO SATISFYING to use).
I know I say this about all my Gale projects, because he just means SO MUCH to me, but this was such a labour of love, and a fun little prop diversion from the endless embroidery I've been doing. Even though this was created with the express intent of giving it to Tim Downie, it was hard to let it go! So I expect I'll be making another one for myself somewhere down the line.
Immense thanks to ulricsworkshop (IG) for the leatherworking guidance; to @elegantfeatherduster for modelling/printing the flute base, knob, and cord caps; and of course to @athelartistry for delivering the finished pouch to Tim (and capturing the moment).
