Mugshot Monday - “Dala Goats” mug by Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant with Morning Glory Blend by Peace Coffee
I hadn’t heard of Al Johnson’s restaurant before, but I really want to go there.
It’s an authentic Swedish restaurant in Door County, WI where you can find goats grazing the sod roof!
The design on this mug is a brilliant mashup of the restaurant’s rooftop goats and traditional Swedish Dala horses. Love it.
My friend Jennifer is from Door County and worked at the restaurant back in the day. She was visiting back home with her family and they stopped to eat at Al Johnson’s. She saw this mug and thought I should have it for a Mugshot Monday. 😀
I told her I’ve wanted to take the family to Door County for years now, so this is a sign we should make it happen. We’ll be sure to stop by the restaurant and check out the goats! And I haven’t had Swedish pancakes in YEARS.
