I’m not sure I’ve ever seen another collaborative work by DALeast. I’m sure there are some but when you look at this work with Cryptik in Wynwood Walls for its 2014 edition titled Art of Collaboration, you’ll probably wonder why the two have not done more work together. Southern California native Cryptik’s calligraphy uses a combination of ancient scripts—Sanskrit, Hebrew, Arabic and Hindi, mixed with what he calls cholo graffiti writing—to create hypnotic mantras based on Eastern philosophical thought. Chinese-born DALeast uses coalescing ribbons of metallic shards to create amazing dimensional compositions of people and animals. @daleast @_cryptik_ @wynwoodwallsofficial
