Abilities: As a vampire, she would be naturally quick, light, and agile compared to the average human - if she weren't mostly restricted to her castle as vampire royalty. She also has perfect vision in dim light (though daylight is nearly blinding), and heightened senses of smell and hearing. When well-fed, she can quickly heal most wounds (even some that would be fatal for a human) and rarely deals with scarring.

Basic Personality: Selena is serious, methodical, and dignified, and acts the part of a stern yet caring ruler. She easily comes off as cold and suspicious, especially toward humans and other outsiders, as safety has always been her top priority. This goes doubly for her own family, as she's quite the doting (single) mother to her 5-year-old son, Prince Morgan - though she's more than slightly overprotective. Her temper is quick and harsh, and she's not afraid to put others in their place if it's warranted, but underneath it all is an undying commitment to her own people... and the constant stress that comes with defending them from the threat of the Church of Avacus and the League of Huntsmen.

His senses of smell and hearing are also heightened, and when well-fed he can heal most wounds (even those fatal to humans) quickly and rarely with scarring - though he is not completely invulnerable to certain kinds of weapons and attacks. Basic Personality: Ransley is a very up-and-down character. He can go from the rational "straight man" in the situation, to reactive and intense, and it can be hard to predict what you'll get with him. As a whole though, he's responsible and safety-oriented, though he can be overly vigilant and protective thanks to trauma. But underneath all that is an empathetic and kind heart, that can't stand to see others hurt, and a traditional sense of honor. He's mature for his age and more of a listener than a talker, but he does have a dry, matter-of-fact sense of humor. Full Name: Charles Lavelle Nicknames: Lavelle, Charlie (family only) Universe: Dalin (imperial Dalin, ~100 years before the present, but exists as a ghost in modern times) Species: Ghost (once human) Age: 34 at death (died 99 years ago) Birthday: Sometime in December Height: Possesses an 8"-tall teddy bear Pronouns: He/It, but prefers He/Him (cis male in life) Orientation: Bisexual Occupation: Former soldier, now a guardian spirit to a young Seer and witch (a character who belongs to @rosemarythewitchyy) Abilities: Because he's incorporeal, he can walk through solid objects, visible only to Seers or animals, and cannot be "killed" in the traditional sense. With enough concentrated energy, he can move solid objects or recreate sensations such as hugs or physical pain. However, he hates being without a solid form, and will always try to possess something (usually an object like a toy that won't be harmed but also has limbs to control) to avoid the feelings that come from being exposed and body-less. Basic Personality: Lavelle is mild and well-mannered, a gentleman in life and in death, and doesn’t like to force his presence on anyone. Rather, he is more fatherly, and his primary goal in his un-life is to protect those who cannot protect themselves and will remain calm unless stirred to action to accomplish these ends. He is a dreamer at heart, yet detail-oriented from his military career, and courageous to a fault. However, he can be impossibly stubborn since he is so driven, and tit-for-tat when kept from his goals, to the point of acting more like a stereotypical ghost. Lavelle was from a military family (his father was an admiral), so it was expected that he carry on the tradition of service, and he entered the army as soon as he was eligible, where he underwent rigorous training. After he graduated and as he toured throughout his home kingdom (Luthor), he ended up meeting his future wife, Hannah Redding, and they quickly hit it off. They married and had a daughter together (Julia), and she quickly became the apple of his eye. He did his best to be present for her despite his military career and she would always ask about him when he was away, with the promise that her father would always return safely and in one piece.

And he kept this promise... until Julia was about 6. Lavelle was called to serve the Emperor of the Four Kingdoms overseas as a guard. A few months into his deployment, he and a fellow guard were accompanying him for a speech in the city of Oteru, when an anti-imperialist protestor threw a grenade at the three of them. All three of the men were killed before Lavelle could react, and it took him several minutes to realize he had died, as his spirit rushed around trying to usher the living to safety. He only realized what happened when he saw his own body on the ground.

While the other two spirits were able to move on shortly after their deaths, Lavelle remained bound to the city of Oteru, thousands of miles from home, as he still struggles to forgive himself for failing to protect the Emperor and the people and also breaking his promise to his daughter. However, by chance, he came across a young Seer and witch from a toxic household whom he now vows to protect with his life, and views as a second daughter until he can move on and reunite with his family.

Orientation: 99.9% sure he's gay, but doesn't realize yet

Occupation: Future Minister of Human Affairs, set to inherit from his father (manages the gatherers and works for the queen of vampires)

Abilities: Like other Dalinian vampires, he's more agile than the average human, has enhanced senses, and can see clearly in dim lighting. He can also heal wounds (even those that would be fatal for a human) much faster if he is well-fed. This skill is what gives Dalinian vampires the image of living longer.

Basic Personality: Blaise is very outgoing and likes to think of himself as charismatic, with an outwardly cheery attitude and a near-constant smile. He loves to hold fancy parties with music, drinks, and dancing, but he also seems to be just a little too forward and knows just a little bit too much about each of his guests. Though he is clearly educated, he's more book-smart, and there’s the vibe of childish ignorance and pompousness there, with little concern for what the lower class might be going through. He’s a spoiled rich kid who hasn’t learned the concept of natural consequences for his actions, so especially during his antagonist arc in his main story, his manipulative and naturally obsessive personality (fixating on one thing or person for an extended period of time) really gets the chance to shine through. Though he is projected to change his ways as he grows older, for now, this is who he is.

Birthday: April 23rd Height: 4'11" Pronouns: They/Them (nonbinary) Orientation: Unknown Occupation: Child Demon (still figuring out their purpose!) Abilities: Still growing in power, but right now, invisibility and hovering in the air for a short while. If they're injured, they can heal quickly and with the right tools can sew themself back together, like a ragdoll. They're also a natural empath and can "see" emotions as they emanate from an individual even if they do not understand it. But their main ability is inducing visions using their own concentrated emotions - though these are often unintentionally dark and frightening in nature. Basic Personality: They are innocent and childlike, wanting to freely wander through life and learn as much as they can about the world with boundless curiosity. They've claimed what is essentially the Grim Reaper (friend's character) as their "father" and follow him around for his duties, which satisfies their connection to humans and other mortals and their innate desire to help others. Somehow they are both timid and brave, as while they can get overstimulated and overwhelmed by the world around them, they also aren't afraid of conventionally scary things for Dalinian demons, such as priests and angels, and will try to start conversations with them even though they only speak Ancient Demonic. However, this naivety combined with a child's impulsiveness is what, unfortunately, gets them into the most trouble.
