long time no see

When Vivi had gotten a call asking for a favour from her old college roommate, she didn’t hesitate. Of course her little girl could come to stay for a semester in New York. Vivi hadn’t seen little Dallas since she was what 4 or 5. She could hardly believe she was now in College. After spending a few minutes chatting with her old roommate, Vivi hung up the phone and started making plans. She still couldn’t help but picture a chubby blonde girl who drew colourful pictures for her and gave sweet butterfly kisses.

Six weeks later, Vivi stood at the airport terminal waiting for the girl to appear. By this point, she had redecorated her spare bedroom and was prepared to show the sweet girl around the sites of the City. It hadn’t been the best last few months as Vivi’s last romantic relationship had come to a screeching halt. So Dallas’ upcoming term in the City had given her something new to focus on. Of course, Vivi’s felt a whole different kind of interest when she glanced up to see the last girl through the gate was definitely blonde but she wasn’t some sweet chubby baby any longer. Oh no, apparently Dallas had grown up.
