Arriving at the new town there is that freshness in Dalontea echoes of Icaracus the fair citytimes of conquerers and kings narrate the tales of their excursions and there I am there breathing in the new smells intoxicating perfumes from a farpersons connecting trades in a heart beat.

Coming to Anionetta's lands I heard rumours as a child of its immense beauty,for it has the lushest forests and castles that rival the stands. It said to be the inspiration of a beloved fairytale my father told me of a princess coming out from the enchanted world. For they are known for a river flows along with its wealth,and the divine.
The Lands of Aqua Vitae

The history of Icarcus universe: Dalontea and The Stands
Note: Sooo more Icarcus history stuff! So Dalontea is based on Portugal which is an another rising empire after Venice fell,so the founder is based on a Chinese poet which we celebrate Zhong He,and Stands is based on Florence which is like the renicansse hub and a little on Tudor England wars wise...and yes Drago’s great grandma is such a bitch XD
Dalontea
You can say that Dalontea is the less glistening sister of the powerful Icracus,despite being blessed with land that meld both sea and sky-one of them being The Lands of Aqua Vitae,once a colony of mad emperors and empresses,however when Icarcus fell into the cold sea,it rose higher than ever burning star. For its history-it grew power hungry,with dukes like Amacio-who scheme the murder of each Icurian merchants who traded their lands with an underworld boss Siegfried The Dark Angel,from the cold lands far away from the warmness. Others like the scornful princess Melian who stumbled upon dark magic,when Solas III refused the marriage of them which cause the rifts of relations between Icarcus and Dalontea. All has the outer motive of stealing that golden light that is from.
They have a legend of the founder,which some people threw sweets into the sea after he drowned himself by accident while battling the tough seas. Seems history repeats itself again when the Prince Salavatore fell into the cold sea by a pirate attack of the flamboyant pirate captain Viven,some dictated it was their failing of religion that Caelestra,that many claim her as a curse to the gem of sky and sea.
Their alliances are shaky,with only Arcona as the only backing due to a diplomacy in a war and Alma-like the suitor who is searching for affairs,their alliance crumbled into many civil wars which unknowingly campaign by Icarcus’ Caelestra who burn the wars into smoke and ash. However many say,the country has the big weakness,beneath the intoxicating aromas,and indeed like a blossoming lotus it dried in the murky seas. It is beyond repair,as some say a repercussion of disobeying the orders of the divine and the cockiness of Prince Salvatore
The Stands
Sometimes war build men,everyone fears for Drago-a stoic man,nicknamed The Iron Dragon,his lineage came from an interesting war in the Stands called the War of the Walls. His great grandmother Lucreniza,known as the cloak-for she bathed in the blood of her people to gain power with the other houses amidst her hapless husband Dionysus who has the rumored affair of an Icurian court woman Deliah,known as to the persons in the Stands as Rose and the Dagger,which ends distaterously-with many of its illicit children fighting for the seats, all of the houses fight for the cold seats of the nine. She brings in the veins of gold,and an artistic revelation where painters came to paint portraits of the rich patrons.
Houses bled and fought until she gained the throne,only to withered in death due to a poisoning incident. Her children and grandchildren ruled the city,including Drago’s father Giovanni and grandfather the charismatic and handsome Eustace (Named after the day he was born was the patron saint’s feast day) who take the unusual trade of being a trader,it said their travels enrich the ties,with the most powerful ally Icarcus,until they disagree over issues on financing and Icarcus’ heavy debt problem.
In Caelestra’s time,she revitalized a dead alliance with neutralizing a civil war of a certain house,Drago gave his blessing by passing his grandfather’s dagger. However their problems are far from over as the war of Thoreau is never forgotten,as called by the Lost Princess Euilalia,then disguised as Adil-called the entwining of the serpents,for the King thoreau and Drago,The Iron Dragon fought a bloody war,as Thoreau tried to infiltrate the Stands hiding the mages who flee from that country. Without the wit of Euilalia and the mages’ help,The Stands could crumble. Now it harks to Amato,a man from the poorest slums known as the Wolf of the Stands,bringing the country the strength it has,as Drago covered.
