This marvelous green damask wrap was first worn in the 1969 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒚𝒔 by Katharine Blake as Elizabeth Boleyn.   Two years later, in the 1971 comedy 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝑶𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒚, the piece was worn by Barbara Windsor as Bettina. The Carry On Films have a long history of costume reuse, and this is certainly not the only piece from 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑻𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒚𝒔 that makes an appearance in the film.   Want to learn more about costume reuse?
