I think at some point I actually started thinking about the possibility of Damcha and Cereki being pale. Their limited interactions gave her the impression that hey, maybe Cereki isn’t that bad - obviously she’d be disappointed with the recent downward spiral if she knew about it but, Cereki seemed pretty abashed that Damcha was the only one really giving her a chance, and Damcha would really want to help Cereki sort her shit.

But I mean they didn’t really interact that much so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
