Damdeok & Sujini (The Legend)

Favorite Fight Scenes: K-Drama: The Legend: In which my otp is an awesome power couple

Damdeok: So, you found her? 

Cheoro: That's right. 

Damdeok: But?

Cheoro: She asked me to pretend I couldn't find her.

Damdeok: So you left her there by herself?

Cheoro: That's what she wanted. She wanted me to be beside you.

Damdeok: If we go back to the place you found her, would we be able to find her?

Cheoro: No. I won't be able to find her again.

OTP Heartbreaking Moments: K-Drama: The Legend: In which the King loses Sujini. Again. 

The token appears again, to Damdeok it truly has become Sujini’s and no one else’s, and I find it sweet that he keeps it with him. That it’s always there at the table beside him. I bet he takes it everywhere and orders for it not to be moved. 

But man, it must have hurt to hear that Sujini asked Cheoro to pretend that he didn’t find her. To imagine her alone, out there somewhere, the one person that he really wanted to keep safe. 

The way he slowly lowers himself to the chair like he couldn't take anymore bad news. 

And that small question, “if we go back..” the way he looked when Chuh Ro said no. The way he gripped the token. The way he looks so freakin' weary. 

*whimpers*

Damdeok: Why haven't I seen her anywhere?

Elder: Her?

Damdeok: It's been a while since I've seen Sujini.

Elder: Sujini…

Damdeok: Is she avoiding me?

Elder: It will be a while...

Damdeok: It will be a while...?

Elder: I sent her away for an important errand for Guh Mool Village. Please understand that I cannot divulge the details to you.

The place she's going to is very far away so it will be a while until you see Sujini again.

Damdeok: What will it take for you to tell me what you're hiding?

Elder: Sujini is going to leave this world. It was a decision that she made with a smile. So please understand, Your Majesty.

OTP squee moments: K-Drama: The Legend: In which The King finds out Sujini is gone.

From all smiles to badass, the change on Damdeok’s face is amaziiiiiiiing. The way he got all in your face with the Elder is alskjalskdjalsdkaldk. 

And his “Is she avoiding me?” comment cemented my opinion that he thought that she was just settling his feelings for him.

But then this happened and Damdeok knows that it was a more than that. It was a real goodbye.

Sujini: Hey, overlord, take care of my king. He likes to be by himself, so follow him when that happens.

Drink with him from time to time. And make him smile once a day.
