Calm your horses, guys
I don't think Mark meant ADWM isn't canon, after all fucking. Actor!Mark Himself was introduced there AND his picture was the one used in the Damien credits. I think he just meant it didn'f "fit anywhere" because the plot is now about story-telling and time isn't real anymore or whatever.
TL,DR, A Date With Markiplier is canon, it just doesn't have to be in order with the rest of the story.
