“Eight, nine, ten” Johanna murmured, walking around her living room in the middle of the night. She checked her phone: 3:30 a.m, she sighed, wondering how much more she could take of it. How much more she could deny the feelings to herself and the rest of the world, but most importantly, him. “I can’t have much more of this” the brunette said, taking her jacket with her and looking around, making sure her roommate wasn’t home to see her very own display of emotions she had been keeping for so long. It was brutal for her to reckon any feeling, specially if they were bound to make her feel powerless and regretful of any sort and it wasn’t any different when she realized she had real, strong feelings for the only person who knew the real her, the person she had been keeping from the world all along. Upon realizing her feelings, Johanna went from anger, to regret to finally, an unbearable panic attack, where her mind tricked her into contacting her friend and telling him how she felt.
Just as she began to walk towards her best friend’s house whom lived only miles away from herself, Jo noticed a couple of cold drops on her face, which suddenly enough turned into 10 and then 20, until she was realised her clothing and hair were soaking, her make-up ruined “Maybe this is the signal you’ve been looking for, stupid. Go back home” she whispered to herself as she kept walking, hiding her hands on her tight pockets, looking down as she mindlessly walked, cursing under her breath for acting like a drama queen from the beginning, thanking the stars for Wells and his strong convictions and undeniable loyalty. 10 minutes passed by with a very lost and bewildered Johanna before she found herself in front of his house, staring at the door tentatively, chewing her lower lip as anxiety took over her once again, her chest pounding under her wet and cold shirt. Taking a deep breath, Johanna walked up to the door, ringing the bell loudly followed by harsh knocks” Wells, dude. Open up” she said huskily, shivering slightly as she tried to warm herself up with hr free hand “I—I need to talk to you. Andrew open up” Johanna yelled, resting her forehead on the door.
