Seasons
As she looked towards him, the light of day highlighted her delicate yet sun kissed figure. Her crimson hair refracting the light whenever it swayed in the oncoming breeze. Eyes that hold hopes and dreams melted into a beautiful hazel. The man glanced back at the woman with a sense of amusement and curiosity. Like a newborn child seeing snow for the first time. As he moved towards her, his rigid frame and pale complexion came more into view. Dark hair with piercing aquamarine colored eyes like that of frozen water. Barely out of reach, he remarked, "Summer, you might just melt my heart if I dare to approach any further." She laughed with a teasing gaze and said to the the man, "come on winter don't be afraid" as she gently reached out her hand towards him. Lightly grasping her hand, he felt the warmth rushing from her hand to replace his own. The blood vessels within his cheeks slowly animating to life, producing a feeling of tenderness and passion. She was the summer breeze to a long bitter winter.
