The BS going on over at Kindle Unlimited has me completely rethinking my publishing plan (aka being a hybrid author) just as I settled into writing with the goal of doing it full time.

FUCK good thing i made my PT appmnt on monday for 4:00pm. This go to pt, then oh you still have time on your shift and go back and work for an hour is dumb as fuckin shit.

I bought a Funko Pop from Amazon the other day and Amazon would not allow me to post my review. Um. What.

So I’m posting it here because now I’m mad.

The actual figure was fine. Well made, cute, unharmed. But its box (the actual Funko Pop box, not the shipping box) was crushed, and had also been slapped with a giant “AMAZON THANKS YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE” sticker across the back of it. Fortunately I unbox my Pops but a lot of people don’t, and if I were one of them I’d be really upset that my box was not just damaged but had a sticker on it. The box is as much of a product as the figure to collectors.

So after getting Captive Prince, Amazon was all like, "Here, read this lesbian pirate story" (The Abyss Surrounds Us, btw), and I thought that hey, great, Amazon is gonna start reccing queer sci-fi and fantasy for me. But since then it only seems to be reccing generic straight sci-fi and fantasty, and while there's nothing wrong with that per se, they got my hopes up with that first rec. :(
