Koha Lesson 11
Monday before handins!
We got our final feedback, it all sounds pretty alright to me, minor tweaks, they still aren’t quite happy with my copy (understandably, it looked pretty plain). We also realised - my fault for not fixing this earlier, I had it in my head that I just needed to put the file back in illustrator and touch it up - that the fish on the poster is on a really tiny file size and so when he gets blown up on the poster he’s all pixelated. Tahlia is finished the animation so she very kindly offered to help me by doing the last touches on the poster including tracing the fish!
This means I can focus my time on getting the website up to scratch. Below are some iterations (incomplete just showing the colour/image developments).
Lots of discussion went on around the colours, in the end I was recommended to go with the purple to go with the poster, and then use some of the yellowy orange accents for that honey theme.
This website is a bit finicky, I think seeing my friend Sophie work on her website makes me realise in future it might be smarter to create pages in photoshop and import them to Xd - I just think I am very limited in Xd in terms of technical skill and I think it somewhat shows in the final outcome. Otherwise I am happy with my progress. I am becoming aware though that I may not be able to animate this in time!
