Ok so a brief follow up on the NoiseFighter new & improved replacement gel pads. They are an adhesive based application and though they say they still have the ridge to clip into your Howard Leight ear pro they don't really. But they do catch on 1 end (top or bottom) and the sticky seems to hold well. They are slightly different shaped so be sure you center them when mounting. They are thicker than originally which is a plus and are softer and squishier which is exactly why you want them and the relief cut at the top (if you oriented them properly) does allow for your arms on your glasses to slide in nicely albeit, in my case just a bit higher than I'd normally wear them with out pinching or binding which is a serious plus! In the example I've shown in using them on a helmet mount application where I had issue with the bottom of the original ear pads not sealing well and actually having a gap no matter how much I tried adjusting them. The added thickness was what I really wanted and sure enough it does fill that previous gap decently enough to fully seal around my ear now. I haven't had the opportunity to get any extended range time usage yet but that's coming and I will update with a more detail oriented post then. But for now those are the high points and the low as it were with the Noise Fighter new and improved gel pads for Howard Leight and others... #251WpnWrx #NoiseFighters #GelPads #Reviews #DamnThatWasMuchLongerThanExpected (at Foley, Alabama) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxKuiadntfH/?igshid=qgqvr3cwogyl
