Loads of Nina fans have been hating on Ian, particularly Komal (damonstan)'s stupid anons. This fandom is like a bunch of four year olds sometimes, I swear.
Komal’s anons right now are the reason I really detest this fandom at times.
Hating on Damon is one thing. He's a fictional character, and even if I don't agree, hating him is up to you.
But hating on Ian Somerhalder? Ian is a real person. And not only a real person, but one of the best I've ever come across.
Ian has the kindest heart. He works so hard for the environment, for animals, for various charities, and he is dedicated to his fans like no other. He's the guy who still goes to conventions even when he's shooting a movie. He's the guy who still turns up to a convention when he has the flu, because he doesn't want to disappoint his fans.
He is the guy who helped me out of my wheelchair, held me up so I could stand up in our picture, thanked me for coming despite being in the wheelchair, told me to keep smiling and stay strong. He is the guy who personally told me and a friend with one of the same illnesses as me that we really need to find a cure, and he desperately hopes we find one, but to stay strong until then. He was the one who said "see you next year," and gave me another goal to get me through the tough times I'm going to face in this coming year, especially now I am being diagnosed with new illnesses.
Ian Somerhalder is the most sincere, down to earth, kindest, well meaning and amazing people on this planet. If you disagree, you clearly haven't been paying attention to the same man as we have.
