A monumental touring installation to hold leaders accountable on climate action. Add your portrait today and be the eyes of the world at COP
Normally I’d write a whole thing for this. Trying to be eloquent and explain this in a concise way. Not today, I just simply don’t have the spoons for that, haven’t had for nearly a week now. All I’m gonna say is that this project cannot happen without the people.
I’m sure the website does a waaaay better job at explaining, but the gist is that they are going to make a flag to be flown over the COP25 summit. Now this flag is going to be big, like, ten-storeys high according to the website. There will be 77 000 faces on it, each representing 100 000 of the world population. And they will form the image of an eye, signifying that we are all watching.
As always, individual action is not enough. So please add your portrait and spread the word. Tel your friends, family, post it on social media (they also have a toolkit for that on the website), talk about it. If you are going on a strike tomorrow (Sept. 27) ask the people around you to participate. Please help.
