What I thought would be my punctum:
"And with all his Wizard wisdom..."
What turned out in the long run to be my true punctum:
"Where do you live?" "The other castle."
How come:
As you can tell, this cast veered HARD into the 'being adorkable' lane and you know what? it goddamn worked for them
Talia doing finger guns at "Wizard wisdom" is cute af, and suits how purposefully she built her Elphaba to be a really specific bisexual vision--
but it's also not, like. spontaneous. it's calculated; she came in with a plan and she executed
Dan's weird glam rock power ballad fist at "the other castle," on the other hand, is the most guileless expression of this boy's id that could possibly exist
like, it makes NO SENSE. it is SO FUNNY. WHY DOES HE DO THIS.
HE JUST THINKS IT'S REALLY COOL OKAY THAT'S ALL
and what could be more Fiyero than that? it's like the living embodiment of the "*already taking off my shirt* oh my god you're so stupid" meme
