It had been a hard few weeks, but everything seemed to finally be looking up. Thanks to the help of Daniel’s coven - specifically his family members - Fernando was awake and on the road to recovery. The magic in his system meant he would still need a few more days to fully recover, but one of the first things he’d done when able was to clear Daniel’s name and send Adri to bail his now son-in-law out of jail.
As much as Adri wanted to be right at the door when Daniel was released, the stupid rules of the institution wouldn’t allow her to be, so she had to wait outside the building for him. Since she’d planned ahead and brought a fresh set of clothing for him, he looked relatively normal when he finally stepped outside; as though he was coming back from vacation rather than lockup. Beside herself with joy, she let out a squeal of happiness and launched herself into Daniel’s arms the moment she could, covering his face with kisses. “Oh, Oso, you have no idea how happy I am to be able to hug you like this again,” she admitted with a broad smile, pulling him for an elated kiss. @dxn-bolton
