if i remember right they stalled to wait for more manga to adapt and then gave up after a while, which is why its pretty good, then only filler and then whatever the fuck the ending was

i liked all of it pretty well to be honest, to the point where i dont want to know how the manga goes because that’ll probably just mess things up for me. the stalling i was referring to in that post was actually in the final battle bc it was just... secret technique secret technique secret technique secre--bravery speech. like. you dont.. you didnt? taking this long to get to your point doesn’t make it more dramatic? in fact thanks to the roundabout way you did it i spent the whole speech formulating my critique over the fact that you called your cannibalistic villain not evil. i understand writing outside of the original content can be a little weird and i dont know at which point you stopped but,, i feel like you were doing pretty good? whats a few episodes to be paced better

GOD YEAH AND CATS TOO??? CATS ARENT THAT HARD??? its just learning what their language is? recently i hosesat for someone with cats and one would bite me when i pet it sometimes and i told them i was trying to figure out what i was doing to upset it so i could stop doing it and they were like, totally resigned to there being no reasons at all and that the cat was just randomly mean ??????

i’ve noticed people who don’t get cats tend to REALLY hate them lmfao... dogs are much more domesticated than cats so dogs will tolerate a LOT of shit, but honestly when someone says “cats are soulless demons, i prefer dogs” all i hear is “i prefer interactions where i’m allowed to step all over anyone with no objections whatsoever”

thank you both... i don’t think that it’s necessary i feel bad or guilty about it, but it’s like, when somebody who doesn’t read comics or anything like that asks “so what do you do” and you’re like “oh i make comic books” and they’re like “oh cool, what have you worked on?” all i can say is drop-out and that’s not v impressive, it’s like “oh..... so what ELSE do you do” or “so what did you do before that” cuz only having 1 makes me sound like i just started. feels hard to connect with other adults but i might just be expecting too much out of small talk without realizing it i SHOULD stop being a big baby about it and include the side comics tho
