I like that Frankie is not trans. I think its great to see a cis woman with strong masculine features, messy hair and no makeup. A lot of cis women look like that, and its so rare to see on TV, especially the main character. Frankie is messy, strong, big, and is a mechanic. She is very male coded. But she is cis and that's awesome for all the cis women who are naturally male coded.

Anyway, why can't Andi be trans? I think it would be neat for the more feminine coded woman to be trans.
