A Fairy Ballet

The Weather Fairies were waking up to a wonderful autum breeze. As they were having a french toast and strawberry breakfast. They heard a knock on the door.

It was Betram the Frog Footman, he had come to announce that The Fairy Godmother is hosting a showcase at the castle this Saturday and wants the Weather Fairies to perform.  There’s only ONE catch. . . . .      Their performance must come from their heart.

After Breakfast, The Weather Fairies flew outside to get some ideas, like they had before. Abigail heard a robin tweeting, ‘Dance Of The Little Swans’ and they decided to do a ballet routine based on their weather abilities. Pearl was nervous, but Goldie assured her that they’ll do fine.

For the next three days they practiced their routines. On the day before the show, Storm got out some old ballet costumes and fixed them up, just incase of broken parts. 

The next night was the Dance Showcase for the king and queen. Everyone laid out their blankets and waited for the performers. First was the Rainbow Fairies and their tap dance/ jump rope routine. Together they sang their special Jump Rope rhyme.

Rainbow colors, everywhere. 

Next was the Flower Fairies and their salsa routine, they each added their special petals to the mix.

FInally, was the Weather Fairies ballet routine. One by one, the Weather Fairies displayed ballet in the weather. At the end of the dance, fairies tossed their bouquets at the performers.

Out of all the performances, King Oberon and Queen Titania liked the ballet routine the most.
