On January 19, 2016...I set foot into the dance room of my gym to craft my VERY FIRST dance routine #BBHMM by @badgalriri for a dance class that had no name yet with a flimsy body and nervous mind. What you've watched is the demo version of the dance before it was finalized and put to teachable choreography. I worked diligently to tweak, asses, and create alternate moves should certain students not be able to move a particular way. The amount of anxiety that filled my whole being even weeks before I knew I had a studio to rent out was insane. I'd call my friends nearly each day and ask if I was doing the right thing and if I was choreographically ready. Week by week, before the official start day, I would come up with new routines to stay ahead, stay educated and stay fresh. My mission was to never have major moves repeat themselves and to teach a valid portion of a song. A year later, I've grown tremendously on my own accord and handled the mission I've made to the T. Within months, the concept of private lessons sprouted along with additional artists and creative minds looking for choreographical assistance. Never did I ever imagine this... all of the stories I've told in dance...all of the classes I've taken and taught...all of the brilliant minds I've met...to be where I am a year later. THANK YOU.
