As soon as Thena was outside, she took in the dark air- The fog flowing like a river around her. Her long, floor-length, dress blew in the breeze as she looked around her. She could see the rain coming in with the dark grey clouds. “Come on, Cassander…" She begged, looking up at the sky. For a moment, she could almost feel him right next to her. She came out of it, and looked up at the sky. The wind blew her waves of hair in front of her face, making her brush it from her face as she took a step forward. She knew what she was waiting for as she watched the sky, and after a few moments, there it was-
It roared through the sky and flickered out before striking a certain place across the city. It was brief… but it was there. There was a memory that came with the sight.
Cassander brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. “They once said that wherever I am…you can follow the blue lightning. Honestly, how many places can you see blue lightning from?" He laughed softly, “If you ever need me, follow it."
The city was oddly quiet as Thena made her way through the streets. People were hiding in their homes as guards walked about. The entire place was under suppression. Cassander’s lightning rippled through the clouds before fading. It wasn’t as vibrant as it used to be but it was there.
